I really loved Uma in this movie. She’s easily one of the best characters in the series, funny, fearless, sassy, caring, and an overall queen. She’s probably my second favorite tied with Jane, my number one is Evie. Great reaction, to one of my favorite movies✨

For a healthy ruler not addicted to the power, who trusts they’ve raised (or adopted) a deserving and trustworthy heir, can step down from power and allow the heir apparent to step into the role, long before their death, if they choose.

Who tells their grandkid that "her mom could hold onto a man in her sleep" when Audrey just publicly got her heart broken (even if she should have let go of her former relationship with Ben)?! Also, I totally agree with Lakia regarding Ben deserving accolades a lot more than the VK's (although they did turn down evil & became heroes). Very fun commentary & movie reaction!

Also she wakes up asking if it was a bad dream and yes she wanted to hurt them but not like that. Also Harry never dated Mal they were enemies. Yes she still wanted Ben but her with the scepter was too far and I believe the scepter can only be used by Maleficent or one of her descendants kinda like the triton in Ariel. Now note I’ve never read the books but many believe this theory.

I recall the fact of Hades is Mal's dad , it's based on the early episodes of "House of Mouse" , there was an episode where Hades asks for mickeys' advice on how to get the ladies , then Hades chose to hit on Malificent. I think it's based on that which leads to today descendants 3 where Mal calls Hades "Dad".

In the Descendants animated series it is cute & fun but sadly underrated. Also China voices Freddy who does Dr.Facilier’s daughter in it. When she got casted as Uma I wanted her as Freddy instead but she does eat it. I only like 2 songs from this film since the 3rd wasn’t the best. Harry is cannon as Bisexual but Descendants 2 did pull a deleted scene of him kissing a boy. I do ship Mal x Evie & Ben x Uma too cause they have better chemistry I agree that Evie’s boyfriend & her have nothing special. It was funny how people were saying how he aged looking 40 & looking like Nicholas Cage. I hope you can read the books that are prequels & maybe between the movies.

Okay unpopular opinion but I think the movies plot are in the wrong order. How is Queen of mean now upset? She should have been the villain for the second movie. It would have been more impactful if she was mad right after Mal and Ben got together. I know it ruins the Uma plot but it just seems out of place
