I just want to take this opportunity to show some massive appreciation towards Jim Carey and the absolute torture he went through to do this movie. I don't mean that to say it's a bad movie cause it's not. It's iconic! I mean he went through absolute hell getting the makeup and everything done to him to become the Grinch. Also I want to express equal love and appreciation towards Josh Ryan Evans who played young Grinch for also having to go through that. I don't know if his experience was as bad but I can imagine it couldn't have been pleasant. I did hear doing the movie has taken a toll on Jim Carey mentally so I really appreciate him for pulling through. Both him and Josh. Massive props and love to them both!

I know people can say stuff like "I miss when things were more authentic like using actual makeup and crap instead of using computers" but I feel like they forget or don't know the hell the actors often go through to get like that whereas with CGI, all they need is poka dots put on them and a green screen suit. Probably more than that but you get my point. I know CGI and green screen can make things look a little wonky but often times if done right they can look pretty epic.

I love the way Jim Carrey sang the iconic song "You're A Mean One, Mr. Grinch" while adding his own comedic elements to it like the hilarious sound effects. And his freak out when the sleigh takes off. "We're going to die!! We're going to die!! I'm going to throw up, and then I'm going to die!! Mommy, tell it to stop!!" Also, I really love how the actress who played Cindy Lou, Taylor Momsen went on to be the front woman and lead singer of a band called The Pretty Reckless. Also, I can sympathize with the Grinch, having been a victim of bullying growing up. I know the feeling of not liking people because of it. Side notes: I would LOVE to have Martha May's Santa outfit, her Whobilation gown and her flowing robe. (in my size, of course. I'm quite a bit taller and thicker than Christine Baranski) Augustus May Who is the true villain, and I never feel bad when the Grinch gets back at him for the years of torment by shaving his Quaker Oats mascot hair. 😆🤣

This is my favourite Grinch movie and the one I grew up watching the most 💚💚Jim Carey was absolutely phenomenal in this one like he brought the humour and the intensity and the uniques of the character and you know he made entertaining 😊I love the whole story in this one like it gave us a valid reason why he hated Christmas in the first place and I got so mad that he was laughed at by his classmates and especially his teacher but I’m happy that Martha always loved him and accepted for he is and I was so happy she got together with him at the end and left the Mayor all high and dry❤️❤️ Also I love Cindy Lou 😁 she is so cute and smart and her friendship is with The Grinch is so sweet and I loved that her Father stood up for her against the Mayor especially since I didn’t like the Mayor at all. You're so pretty and awesome!! :D there is one scene with the tablecloth, when the Grinch takes the table cloth from the table, everything on the table was supposed to fall off. When Jim Carrey yanked out the cloth however, everything stayed in place. Jim immediately walked back to the table and improvised knocking everything off and then knocking the table over, So they actually kept that scene in the movie 😂
