One thing I've caught about this movie over the years: When they're walking around the north pole, they hear the elves talking about the last present having candy cane paper and a green number 7 bow. You're supposed to think that it's Billy's present, but eventually, you notice so is Hero boy's present. Leaves you to wonder: did Santa know he was going to lose the bell?

It could have been another kid's present. They can use the same wrapping paper- the elves could have been rushing to wrap the bell, so they reused the leftover wrapping paper and bow. Edit: i just fixed the mistakes.

the "i didn't do it" kid launched me to flashbacks i didn't know would unlock. i remember reciting it, making a beat with it on the tables, dancing to it (cause that static loop was KICKING)

When the dad said about the express. He meant the toy train. Dang, this movie really putting kids on the spot.. Fun fact: this was the older version. It pointed out how Santa wasn’t real. The newspaper scene was also not In the Final Cut. Also also: When the guy on the train said “DoN’t We AlL WaNt OnE?” Was also cut.

Love your Hero Girl cosplay. This movie is an all time classic. The motion capture has aged better than most in my opinion, and the art, music, and story are so good.

Regardless of everyone’s criticism on the animation (I happen to enjoy it) this is hands down one of my favorite Christmas movies, especially the movies theme on the power on believing in the Christmas spirit.🎄 Also, I don’t know about you but the Scrooge Puppet who harassed the Hero Boy was literally an Easter egg for Robert Zemeckis’ next Christmas motion capture film, _A Christmas Carol_ in 2009, and even the clothing the Scrooge puppet had is the exact same clothing Scrooge wore in the film. Finally the know-it all boy with the Glasses is Eddie Deezen who is best remembered for his roles in _Grease_ and _1941_ and the voice of Mandark in _Dexter’s Laboratory_

The whole school, every grade kindergarten-5th, would watch this movie every year in our Pajamas in the gym at my elementary school. Our teachers would hand out hot chocolate and golden hole punched tickets that the teachers printed out. Now my nieces go to that same school they just had their polar express movie day in the gym.

0:17 GREAT way to put that 💀 Also anyone else only just realize that the narrator in the beginning of the movie and the conductor were both played by the same actor who played woody in Toy Story? Cuz I just did and I’m shocked 😄 Also also, fun fact: the hobo on top of the train is the blue robed kid if he continued to not believe in the spirit of Christmas, and the conductor is the blue robed kid if he chose to believe in the spirit of Christmas and continued to believe it for the rest of his life

Oh, I love the Polar express. It was one of my favorites as a kid. I remember my third grade teacher reading this I was in class. My favorite part about the polar express is most of it, but I also love listening to Josh Groban singing believe at the ending credits just makes it even more magical. This movie always reminds me of that one time when i was young, after watching that movie in school i pulled a bell off my grandma's Christmas tree. tried to convince everyone i met santa and i was better then them💀

I will say this was one of the rare movies my sisters, brother, and I came together to watch. We sit around the tv, wait for a channel to play it, and watch it together each time it was Winter. It was to the point that I started to get excited each time I shake a bell or I would constantly shake it. One time I was going to cry because one bell I had stopped ringing (my sisters changed it out, which they told me when I was older lol). Though I quickly realized Santa wasn't real after catching my Mom setting things up as I came out early to use the bathroom, but I didn't say anything and went along with everything since my Brother still believed. :)

The dichotomy of Rukiya only seeing this once and then enjoying it years later (minus the anxiety bits) vs me hating this movie as a child because my brother had it on for everyday every year after he first watched 😂😂 Though now I can say I can appreciate as an adult! OMG The Polar Express is probably one the best Christmas movie. I watched it too many times. I remember one time I've watched the movie at my school age class we had donuts from a nearby dunkin donuts, hot coco and those printable tickets.
