What I find great to compare between this movie and the first X-Men movie was how Hugh Jackman came into the roll. Compare his rage scream at the end of this video to the one he gave at Sabre-tooth in X-Men. It's night and day really showing how he became Logan more then merely playing the part.

@luimacs3 жыл бұрын
I believe now that Logan's healing factor maybe reduced after living for so long and getting so many big injuries. Since humans are technically humans with extraordinary genetic make ups. Regular humans have a naturally healing factor. And the corn syrup could possibly killing mutants along with suppressing the mutant gene because how intertwined is this mutant gene to DNA to kill the body is another thing, but what if the corn syrup was never engineered to suppress but to kill the mutants?
@reveredokay3 жыл бұрын
@@sophiawilson8696 his healing powers made him immune to mostly everything including metal poisoning (that means rust that came from his adamantium bones) But the corn syrup caused his Genes to mutate and that mutation suppressed his healing factor. and now that His Healing factor is not the same as before due to his DNA mutation, he is now more vulnerable to diseases (such as Metal Poisoning). so yes the metal in his body is killing him BECAUSE of the corn syrup that caused his genes to mutate

But, normally, bullets are expelled from his body, does that mean that the bullet from the old film stayed in his body? Idk man
@uni4rm3 жыл бұрын
Well he spotted it but its a bad explanation. Wounds don't "come back", however, due to the reduced effectiveness of his healing factor, it didn't heal properly, and scar tissue would induce a limp. Similarly, as we age, we "feel" old wounds "return", when they are just injuries we tolerated but either left scar tissue or caused particular weaknesses that showed up later on.
@Harmthuria3 жыл бұрын
I know. That one I didn't like. When he was shot in 'the Wolverine', he could still heal, so he shouldn't have a limp in 'Logan'. It's like if he was suffering from radiation poisoning. He survived a nuclear bomb's explosion after all.

I was strongly under the impression of the scene in the Wolverine, "You'll be holding your own heart in your hands," that that was when he goes into the room where Yoshido was and cuts himself open, reaches inside (to his heart) to pull the nasty bug thing out. This is followed by his heart stopping beating, implying death, with his heart in his hand. His healing factor then brought him back to life.

@@G3-7162 I disagree. Laura did not need to hold Logan's hand to make that scene emotional. I think the death scene in the Logan movie was an hommage to the death vision in Wolverine 2. And that connection makes the death scene much more emotional and meaningful than it already is. And since every Marvel movie hides a lot of easter eggs and references to other movies, why should this scene not be an easter egg or a reference? If you don't want to see it that way, fine. But I stick to it: Wolverine did indeed die with his heart in his hand!
@G3-71623 жыл бұрын
Alright, now I gotta find the whole quote. "I saw you die in a room like this with your heart in your hands" I legitimately do not see how this can mean anything else besides in THAT film. Thats because it's one of the few productions out there that actually had a lead, masculine, or man with "toxic masculinity" role that felt genuine and not force fed. Logan embodies what most men desire to be in the corners of their mind and what women would love to snuggle up next to in bed. Outside of all the politically correct nonsense out there trying to persuade everyone that normal is not so normal anymore, there are movies like this, maybe no more, that show us what we are supposed to be. Apart from being a mutant, logan was mostly a Just man, desiring and doing what is right regardless of his struggles. He was tough, rugged, assertive, kind, respectful, everything a grandmother would love. He was also a muderer, sometimes misguided, but human none the less in his own right. Its alot to say for a fictional character but all of these great qualities can be achieved, lived up to, and respected without the claws in our reality.

Nice job pointing out these tiny details. I definitely missed some of them. Regarding the Rogers gravestone, I think that it’s just a coincidence or easter egg, but it would be interesting if it meant that the X-Men and MCU movies are somehow connected to each other.
@incomingdude3 жыл бұрын
Well done brother, you've got such an eye for detail! I could never find all these hidden truths and meaning xD I really loved this movie, imho one of the very best of the whole MCU! Actors gave us a flawless performance, filled to the brink with hearthbreaking and gutwrenching action and emotions. Absolutely amazing.

I like how in most of your videos your "Easter Eggs" are just common plot points that drive the story. A lot of them are things that you pick up by just watching the movie. They're generally explained in the movie, or specifically shown to you.

This movie had very nicely thought-out details that most people wouldn’t even notice. Also, it just occurred to me that given his healing factor, I would assume it would be very difficult to get intoxicated since alcohol is essentially a poison. I know his healing factor was compromised at this point but he was always known to enjoy alcohol- I bet he had to drink Herculean amounts to even get a buzz

I was thinking that for a moment, but I got confused about the mechanics of limping. Plus, he got shot in the back 20 times with arrows, so he should be having some serious back pain. Also, Future Past reset everything.

It's hinted at in the movie that there is something up with the food. Dr. Rice even mentioned it at one point. Also when he's at the bar there's a subtle nod to Canewood on the TV in the background.
