The problem with this whole relationship is that it would require Jade to act out of character. In this one episode alone, they had to completely water down her character just to make her likable for Andre. And it feels very forced.

@@x-man9473 i do see what you mean, that scene sorta did make me cringe. But she’s not fully water-down, he’s the only person she seems to genuinely like. I feel like the only people she truly acts toxic with are Tori, Beck, Robbie, Sinjin, and etc. In some ways she’s a watered down version of herself with Cat, but that’s cuz she genuinely wants to be nice to her (sometimes). The same goes for Andre, he’s chill and that keeps her calm and shows off her actual positive side. If this show was more story-driven and wanted to develop the characters, I could see Jade and Andre being together, it can allow for their growth

I think Tori’s and Trina’s mom just comes from a whole lot of money. Because she seems jobless and spends money without care. I’m sure that it’s hinted somewhere that she is cheating on the dad.. with his police force partner Gary. But I think the dad knows.. and tolerates it, because she brings in the money.
