I’m pretty sure the reason they had Gibby go up the fireplace is because he was underage, limiting the number of hours he could legally be on set. Everyone else was over 18 so they didn’t have this restriction. You can see this a few times in the series, like “iParty with Victorious” where all the characters get made to look like someone else (which would require a ton of time doing makeup) and Gibby gets a mustache saving time and allowing him more time to film his scenes
