He works best with original characters and not pre-established characters from franchises that originated in other forms of media, especially characters with very specific voices or accents because when Chris Pratt plays these characters, they sound more like himself than the character he is trying to portray.

I don't want to be mean, but his editing in the last year or so has definitely dropped in quality and I'm about 1 more badly edited video (especially sound wise) away from unsubbing from what used to be one of my favorite channels.

@@hx20games77 The problem isn't just marketing, it's voice direction. For example Orson Well's as Unicron from the 80's transformers film for his final role. He admitted that he didn't care for Transformers, but he still gave it his all. Mostly likely the people making film cared about what they were making. Robert Pattinson was cast as the Heron from Boy and the Heron, but Robert used a surprisingly creepy voice for the character. This is likely because Studio Ghibli is strict about characters. Patrick Stewart was cast as King Goobot from Jimmy Neutron, but he used a higher pitch for the character. Mostly likely because of good direction.

Just wanted to say that milk is NOT good for cats! And media needs to stop spreading this myth. There are specially-made milks that you can buy for your cat but giving the milk we all drink is not good for them. It will make them sick. They are lactose-intolerant. That’s just a little pet peeve of mine and makes this movie even more annoying to me lol.

Garfield is PG and makes more money. Furiosa is R and so it excludes a lot of young viewers that aren't 17+. I know age ratings don't define quality, but in regards to sale, obviously there are a ton of kids and families who'd choose the "safe" option.

I will always appreciate and recognize Paul Schoeffler for doing a phenomenal job as voice actor, because unlike Chris Pratt, Paul is very good at bringing out uniqueness and different styles in the characters he is selected to voice, they don't all sound like Paul Schoeffler For anyone that doesnt know who this guy is, he was responsible for like 80% of the villains in the cartoon network show from the 90s called "Courage the Cowardly Dog"

Took my friend to see this movie and we both left it agreeing that the live action Garfield from the 2000s was a more faithful adaptation to the characters. At least the Live Action had Squeak, Arlene, and Nermal as minor characters rather than a cameo

Honestly, Chris prat could have played Otis or nerval. It wouldn't be the first time Otis talked in a garfield movie. Also, I know this is a kids' movie, but this would've been funny if, instead, milk, it'd be catnip they had to steal. Mainly cause cows milk is actually really unhealthy for cats to drink.

I found myself enjoying it. It definitely has more effort put into it than Migration. They’re both mid let’s-just-get-kids-in-seats low effort vehicles but Garfield actually got me emotionally invested and enjoying at least half of the humor. I even had no qualms with Chris’s voice in this.

Despite Chris Pratt doing the voice for garfield, I was initially excited about the movie because I loved the animation style. Then I saw the trailer and that the story had nothing to do with Garfield and his relationships with the people of his house... Which is the core part of Garfield's stories. (Especially when John gets a girlfriend and it takes attention away from him.) Instead we get a by-the-numbers kidnap/ heist movie with other stuff... Like... WHY?

Honestly I'm so over them trying to cash in on Chris Pratt's name that I wasn't planning on seeing this movie but I appreciate your sacrifice. Mario was okay but definitely would have been better with a VA who could bring more life to the character. My favorite Garfield movie was Garfield's Nine Lives movie. The various animation styles and stories they came up with were great. I recommend it. Edit: Only thing I liked about this Garfield was Odie. Odie is great.

A lot of creators will make a video saying that they watch something so you don’t have to. You actually watch something so we didn’t have to. Thank you so much because that movie sounds so bad and I knew it was going to. But it’s actually crazy to hear from you, how bad it actually is.

Fun fact, in the Lithuanian version the old guard lady has a heavily "žemaičių" accent, which honestly was my favorite part of the movie
