Another couple of fun sad and upset facts Umaga was supposed to face Jeff for the ic title but Jeff was suspended bc he failed the wellness policy Umaga was gonna face jackass crew back in 2007 so imagine jackass who beat Sami in 22 mania beat Umaga in 07💀 that would be bad they even had a poster of Umaga bearing jackass crew, Why didn't it happen bc Chris Benoit happened so the leader of jackass thought it wasn't safe to join a company with controversy at the time. It also was booker t's last appearance for 4 years after failing a wellness policy booker t said he never did it so he reported it immediately but WWE wouldn't appeal it so he and his wife left to tna, this was Randy vs Cena's first ppv match ever and is 5-5 against each other in ppv matches, WWE didn't trust Khalil after this Ppv, lots of injuries happen like gif said, both batista and Randy were going to win but Vince thought it would be better later down the line. MVP had a heart problem which made him stop breathing so they had him in a skit with stone cold instead, and finally 11 ppl.were found with the disobeying the wellness policy but only 10 were suspended edge, booker t, Mr. Kennedy, Chris masters Chavo Guerrero, Umaga, 2 jobbers,John Morrison, and Jeff the 1 person who was the 11th man on the list that wasn't suspended you asked? Well it was the viper himself Randy Orton. If he had been suspended Randy wouldn't be here as we speak concerning his 2012 suspension hell I lot of things wouldn't happen if that had been the case Daniel Bryan wouldn't be as good in 2014, Seth Rollins rko wouldn't have happened shield vs evolution either. No rkbro Randy 2018 speech nothing 😢 glad that didn't happen

Umaga was supposed to take on the Jackass crew in SummerSlam 2007, but Johnny Knoxville became aware of the Chris Benoit situation months prior to the event and it made him and the whole crew pull out of the card, and Umaga was already doing a segment where he was beating up Steve O and Chris Pontius, wish we would’ve gotten this match because it would’ve been funny.

For the longest time, I always thought SummerSlam 2007 was a decent show. I mean you got Rey Mysterio and Triple H coming back from injury, and John Cena Vs Randy Orton for the WWE Championship, etc. When I rewatched it tho, I see why many don’t like to go back here. It definitely lacked in big names, the summer was overshadowed by the Chris Benoit tragedy, and other factors. While I wouldn’t say this is the worst SummerSlam ever, I see why now, it’s lacking compared to the others from Ruthless Aggression.

Summerslam 2023 in my humble opinion is the worst PLE of the Triple H era. The first 2 matches were great and then it fell off from there. The completely pointless slim Jim battle royal, Ronda vs Shayna being possibly the worst match of 2023, Drew and Gunther having an above average match, a decent triple threat match for the women’s title, Finn Balor getting snubbed out of the world title once again, and a slow and boring main event where the rules of Tribal Combat were broken twice and was followed by a still-unnecessary Jimmy Uso heel turn
