Fischl's mispronunciation of words is entirely intentional by the VA and part of Fischl's character. I believe if you read Fischl's character stories, it mentions she's making up the pronunciation because she's only read the name in books, she's not heard the actual words spoken out loud.

hey i am german and fishels "verurteilung" merkly had strong american accent wich mackes sence as her treal name is Amy and Fischl is not a german name closest word would be Fischer (family/second name meaning fisher) and if Fischl was a german name it be spelled Fischel wich was triggering me personally was Oz`s pronounceation Prinzessin de verotello at leas thats waht i understood me a native german speaker lmao the word was rushed and mumbled wich made it into this psudo latin origined language name

The whole point of Fischl's character is that she is _not_ Fischl, but Amy. The fact she can't pronounce the German words is purposeful. It's not bad voice acting or directing.

Heard that too. I think the actual VA doesn't speak German anyway, but unless it's purposeful, it's kind of a weird mess up. Although, both Prinzessin and Immernachtreich sound okay a lot of the time, iirc (like a normal English accent in German)

@@Acheron-IX I mean, it is a bit weird, considering that Mondstadt is inspired by Germany. The name of the region is german and many character names are germanic too. This is not meant as hate towards the VA, I am sure she could have pronounced it better, but it's an odd choice from the sound director.

On the flip side, I might just be an outlier but I debated polishing some of the videos I send my mates but then decided I don't feel like being roasted.
