Today's bourbon hunting trip was awesome. I never thought that I would end up bourbon hunting at a hardware store of all places, but Louisiana keeps on surprising me! In this bourbon hunt we also went to NuNu's in Scott Louisiana which had an incredible selection. I hope you all enjoyed today's bourbon hunting adventure! Cheers!

The Brother’s Bond Cask Strength is much better than their normal bourbon offering. It’s a little pricey for a celebrity whiskey but it’s solid.

Cask strength Brothers Bond I picked up only because my daughter insisted. I was very surprised. I know it’s MGP but they have good MGP barrels. It was a solid pour

There are more requirements to bottled in bond besides proof and age. It's not a marketing gimmick. It has to be aged in a bonded warehouse. It also has to be distilled in a single distillery in 1 season. Penelope is owned by MGP who owns a whole bunch of distilleries. It's possible those barrels are a blend over years or from several of their distilleries. Bottled in bond actually means something that the consumer can trust. These large companies are smart not to mess with it. Keep up the great videos. I love all the different experiences in Louisiana and Colorado and New York.
