Dude I just got to say your the reason I started fishing. My pops try’s to take me sometimes but he just can’t go no more. So suddenly I tried learning from KZbin and found your channel. I took notes and the next time I went fishing I started catching the biggest fish I ever seen. I try to go fishing but I never can because nobody will take me so maybe I’ll go someday. My father recently sent me a Shimano bait caster from the 80s. He's 77 now and doesn't fish anymore. After I rebuilt it, it casts AMAZINGLY well on the 7' medium fast action Abu rod I put it on. I use Zebco closed reels myself, I have an Omega and I've caught literally HUNDREDS of fish on a Zebco 33. That would be a cool challenge video...lol. They are just the work-horse of trouble-free fishing and if SOMEHOW, the whole kit goes in the river, I'm only out $30...lol. "Road to 19K"...at the time of this comment, 66.3k in just over a years time since this was published. Great job Ryan! I hope to see similar growth in my own channel...it's not fishing but there's been some traction lately and with Gods will and my faith it will persist.
