I’m a subscriber and a fan of your channel, definitely not a so called troll, but just need to point out that as you were riding the bike on land that has public access then riding off road rules do not apply and all of the road traffic act rules will come into force therefore you are effectively riding a motorcycle and could lose your driving licence for doing so. The government needs to get this sorted I’d buy one of these if it was legal to ride it, but I can’t risk a driving ban.

E-bikes are incredibly fun to ride and make sense, unlike the EV cars. Here in the USA they sell street legal e-bikes that are basically mopeds. They can go 45mph and up with decent range. (By decent range, I mean that you're basically tired of riding it and there is still battery left.) That breakfast looks very good. Now I'm hungry!

It's quite a good idea to put tinned tomatoes in a ramekin. I like them, too, but when you spoon some on the plate with the fried egg, sausage etc, the juice is a problem and runs everywhere. So usually I take six cherry tomatoes, slice them in half, place them in an enamel tray, add a knob of butter and salt and pepper and sauté them in the air fryer for ten minutes. Delicious.

Furthermore a car journalist company in Australia have done a similar test to Lee and Geoff where they took a petrol/gas internal combustion engine BMW 7 series and its EV version the ix7 and compared running cost, journey time and ease of running a internal combustion car vs EV on a long journey (which all manufacturers and EVangelists seem to say EV's can do easily). The outcome was that the internal combustion car was cheaper to run and less hassle than the electric version. They also had the same issues Lee has which are busy chargers, broken chargers, chargers withholding money prior to charging.

There are lots of thorn bushes near where I live. When the council cuts them they leave loads of debris on the path, so when you ride your bike it's basically like riding through dozens of police stingers.

Hi Lee, I would definitely go with the mud guards! Great review. Forget brown or red sauce with breakfast and go with English mustard - especially great with real sausages! But it is "head-gear" not "head-stock"! In 40 years in the mining industry around the world, I have never heard the term "head-stock". Maybe it is local, who knows 🙂. But IT IS "head-gear". 🙂

This is a departure from Lee's usual videos, but interesting nonetheless. As the camera pans over the breakfast I think that is darned good value, especially when you pay a fiver for a McDonald's Sausage and Egg McMuffin meal. My days of cycling are sadly in the past since my arthritic knee precludes pedalling. This bike looks really cool, though the price is high. I would want mudguards as standard, too. I don't like the chunky tyres, but I can see that this bike is really designed for off-road use.

It's all well and good having a bright FRONT light, but does it have a BACK light? For nearly 3K, it should be fitted automatically, as should mudguards. That bacon looked more like gammon!

Breakfast looked amazing! In regards to the bike, looks a very good bike, I have just recently bought an emtb and it is so fun off roading! Even started using it for commutes and I'm saving a fortune in fuel and skipping the traffic is fun too. But offroading along the canal is great. Im in my 30s and I had that thing about mudguards, do I or not? But I got some in the end, keeps the bike clean and myself clean and dryer. Also makes it less cool to steal. Top tip on a bike lock for ebikes by the way is the Litelock X1 or X3 or the Hiplock D1000 I think its called, both angle grinder proof for a reasonable amount of time! Great video, any trips to Benidorm coming up? :)

Looks like a good bike Unfortunately no good for proper mountain biking. Tyres are too big and you don't want to carry a battery around. Good fun bike though. I wouldn't charge the battery near the house. Breakfast looked lovely.

In Australia they have banned ev scotters and some bikes . I do love the idea for work but worried it eill get stolen .literally every day where i am , ppls expensive cars any bikes get stolen they 3ven go into your private property to take them .and the police let it go . Lee could you look into security gadgets and lockes or ideas regarding leaving your bike in public areas.

I am only 7:17 in but I hope this is still the Rumbles Cafe of old? My Mum used to visit when she was a bit more mobile (she's 89 now and not so mobile). This charity run Cafe is a marvellous resource in helping and training those with learning issues to be able to integrate and to be able to enter the job market. Without looking through all of the other comments Lee, I maybe repeating what somebody else has said but that Cyrusher e-bike is regarded as a motorcycle in the UK, even in it's 250W limited guise as it simply has a 750W motor fitted to it! Cyrusher already has form for miselling their e-bikes in the UK and it was only last year when they got a ticking off from the Advertising Standards Agency!

It's fine if the motor is larger than 250w so long as its limited to 250. Which it is. It's on the government website. My mates a copper and he said they never bother stopping anyone if they ride safely. The issue is the toerags on the Surrons that ride at speeds of up to 50mph and now the cops can't chase them as they don't wear helmets. The law is all wrong as 250w is too low powered for hills. A normal pedal bike can go faster. My mates racer he can get up to 40mph plus. No motor. It's not the watts it's the speed that should be limited. Typical Government. Not got a clue. Same government that are Electric Cars and driving petrol Range Rovers. 😉❤️

@@TheMacMaster I would highly recommend you do a quick Google search for "ASA Cyrusher" and you'll see that what you're riding around on is deemed to be a motor vehicle, the ruling was on the ads for the XF900 and XF650 with exactly the same set up as that Ranger. Exert from ebiketips website: The ASA told Cyrusher that, "The ads must not appear again in the form complained of. We told Cyrusher Outdoor Sporting Ltd to ensure their future ads were socially responsible and did not misleadingly imply that the advertised bikes could be used as electrically assisted pedal cycles and were not subject to the same legal requirements as motor vehicles." You're not the first KZbinr I've seen getting a Cyrusher e-bike to keep just for giving it a punt on here, obviously a tactic to try evade the eyes of the ASA. Using an unregistered motor vehicle with nothing else that goes with it can be a hard hit to take if your caught, especially if one has a driving license, personally it's a risk I wouldn't want to take as I do know of somebody that's been pulled on an e-bike and the first thing the copper wanted to know was the wattage of the motor!

Don't forget my channel is not solely aimed at the UK market. In fact the largest percentage now of viewers are from the USA. I think that's down to the EV vlogs. Spoke with my mate who's Chief of Police in Leicestershire and he said, I wouldn't worry, they have better things to do than pull an old bloke on a bike over, just don't ride it like a lunatic. The ASA hmmm Yeah dealt with them when I worked in advertising in Newspapers, very much like Council workers lol. @@terrortorn American bacon isn’t made from trimmings from any cut of meat. It’s made from 2 different cuts , either a slab of pork belly or a slab of side meat depending on how it’s cured & smoked. We also eat a slab of side meat just cured with salt and the skin is left on called Fatback or Streaked Meat that’s cut in thick strips , soaked in water or boiled in water to get the salt out then fried with the skin on.

Lee, I don't know if the manufacturer provided weight specs but you should mention maximum weight on these Bikes. Some of them are restricted to riders 100KG or lighter. That would probably be a deal breaker for a lot of people. That breakfast was missing mushrooms and black pudding. I don't eat any bacon but British bacon looks awful. How can you prefer that fatty, soggy slop to crispy bacon? Then again, baked beans make no sense to us Americans and neither does your tomatoes or your brown sauce which tastes like crappy bottled gravy mixed with vinegar. Also, why aren't proper American Hash Browns more popular? They're delicious.
