I WENT ON WITHOUT HER! Ludgershall Fun Fair Vlog - Edward Stokes, 20th April 2024

Welcome back to the vlog, Todays Fair is by Edward Stokes, Located in Wiltshire, The town of Ludgershall for a family Fun Fair with some really top machines including The Waltzer, Twist, Miami and Orbiter! Plus Dodgems and kids inflatables and games, Food options galore including Donuts.
We visited on the Saturday with ever changing weather, Typical April in England.. Sunny, Cloudy and cold! But we made the most of it being DRY.. We also took Sams dads foster children to give them their first ever Fair experience plus sulky Libby, BUT give her a break.. if you have teenagers you'll understand.
Hope you enjoy this somewhat hectic vlog, was all a bit last minute so included channel shoutouts on screen, I'll do a video next week.

Dave honestly don't worry about your daughter, I have teens and it's normal behaviour mate. They seem to have the whole world against them, Can still see those little smiles creep through, she adores you. You are right about her phone, just let her use it if it makes her happy. Focus for me is on the fair anyways, Your lovely family are just a bonus and seeing more of Sam is a bonus, she is lovely! Whilst its nice to see your kids grow and reach the important milestones in life its also heartbreaking when they grow out of the fun things like fun fairs and days out with family etc. i dont have kids myself but sometimes wish i did as they give you the motivation to go out, make memories and have fun. Yes you can make memories without kids but its not the same. #LIFE IS WHAT YOU MAKE IT!

Yeah, I feel quite sad this year. It's tough for me to see... I do miss them being young, feel like I'm trying to cling on to it haha. I know Libby comes across badly in vlogs but she's just a teenager, it's not cool hanging with dad and think people need to remember that

My hubby is 43 this year and he is still mummy's little boy. No matter how much disrespect and grief your kids give u, u will still love and protect them no matter what. I'm gonna sound like a sheep here but try and ignore the hateful comments and focus on the positives and most importantly have fun. I totally understand that it's hard to ignore the haters but try not to let one person ruin ur fun

Every time i see that Ghost Train it always brings back happy memories as i worked on it for years when Reece's Dad, Leonard had it,, it's definitely a lot slower now, it used to be 14 seconds!, i minded it at Ringwood for Reece a few years ago on my own and i have never had so many people on it, the queue just never ended!, one of only two of the old type of Ghost Train still travelling, i believe, by the way, i won't mention the phone, lol!

What's amazing is that if you look back to 2019, which doesn't feel that long ago, Libby looks like a little girl. 5 years later she's as tall as some adults and since then we've gone through a pandemic and allsorts. In 2019, when I was 10, I'd never have thought that the next year would be such a disaster with the pandemic and everything.
