I totally agree that it’s super hard to spot the big agates! Been a few times with Travis from 406 findings and he made it look soooo easy! Pet wood though, i got that down as well lol! Actually thinking i might hit up Billings at the end of the month. Wanna do sapphires in Helena first.

Facts, the NATS are not like the expos! Lol unfortunately I wasn't old enough to see them at the height (12\31\1992) but in loved them in 1999 and early 2000s and 2004 was heart breaking to say the least, betrayal.

Im a trucker out of Billings Montana and deliver rebar. So i get fo to sites where the huge piles of rocks have never seen the sun before. I have been able to collect about three tons of petrified wood agatized and jasperized wood as well as normal agate and jasper as well as jasper/agate mixed. I've also found hundreds of pounds of various other stones like serpentine, garnet, saphires, wonderstone, and some fossils. I also got about half of fossilized tree with some agate banding just outside of Gardiner.
