I feel like some of these stones were judged too harshly especialy the quarz that wasnt pure enough. I mean they are more than good enough for a walkway😅

@RockhoundingLife feldspar is radioactive very low levels but it is so is marble. Small amounts of radiation from small amounts of uranium and other stuff.

Thank you! I appreciate that you replaced the rocks you wanted with ones you already had. To those who grumble about people caring, well, imagine lots of people taking just one rock. After a bit of time, the rocks would be all gone, and if that is not stealing (which it is since the place that has the rocks paid for them) definitely it is at the least not at all respectful. This is my first video of you taking rocks from any place where they were bought and placed. And maybe you will think it strange, but I usually replace the rocks I picked up in their same spot. I love rocks and have brought some home over many years… usually from a river bed where they’ve been tumbled. On beaches I often find tumbled glass… and one day my box of those will make a lovely art project or three or four…

The few years I've been practicing lapidary, I've realized finding the best cut is very much like cutting corals. Wrong cut or chip out could ruin the piece or animal
