I went to a Goldfish Auction!

Join me for a day at a goldfish auction hosted by the nationwide goldfish society. The goldfish show and auction was held in Coventry and there were some great fancy goldfish for sale on the day.

I just discovered your channel and watched this auction video. I don't keep goldfish but my jaw dropped when I saw the prices they went for. I googled a couple of them and U.S. sellers want $ 20:01 200-$300 each! What a great place to shop for goldfish. PS. I felt bad for that actioneer having to bend down so much, lol.

those bristols are crazy! I tried to get one from my local fish shop and they wanted something like £40 perfish that were half that size! I wish we had stuff like this down here.

There are a few throughout the year. But this is the National so it’s the biggest. Basically there are a few clubs and they all do their own shows and meets but once a year all the goldfish clubs come together and hold this show. You have to be a member of one of the clubs to enter. If you check out the AMGK (association of midland goldfish keepers) you can join, I think it’s £12 for the year. Some clubs have other things going on as well like zoom meetings. Baby shows. Newsletter. And the shows auctions and AGM’s. Let me know if you struggle to join and I’ll help you out
