Enjoying your your.. Sorry about your telescopes .. they are so sensitive .. Great collection.. Nice to see another goldfish keeper ... Very nice bristol shubunkin.. very hard to get here. I really like your drip system so fresh water is constantly coming in. That must really help with growth. Great video I subscribed!! I have veiltailed shubunkin.. I have been breeding them for several years..I have some large ponds, and smaller shubunkin ponds. I also keep other cyprinids I keep koi, several types of barbs that I breed , Gara and white clouds.

Thank you for the Sub. Bristol shubs are getting a little harder to come by here but you can still source them through the goldfish clubs and at auctions. The drip system is brill, I never have to do a water change haha

Thank you Kelly ❤️ I’ve already made a start on the next video, so you won’t have to wait as long for the next one! I didn’t realise they were relaxing? Is it my voice or that I take my time and not as all over the place as some other KZbinrs?

OMG those pearlies are so bouncy! lol. Well done Jamie, the fish room is amazing, you have done a really good job there. Two things, keep up the salt in the butterfly tank, also use some acriflavine in there too, it wont harm the others. Secondly you do understand that the drip system from each tank to the next can spread things to all the fish when the tanks are interlinked. Good luck with the fish room, the fish look amazing and the water is good. I really like the black background and the moss on the bottom of the tanks is fine, keep growing it! Green Granddaughter

Thank you 😁 I’ve used some acriflavine, they were worse than they are now but I’ll use some more. The drip goes through each rack so the racks are separate from eachother, but yes between one rack I need to not add new fish. I will always put new fish in one of the containers. I’m trying to cut down on the water usage, I’m in a meter now lol

Can you do a video about how you do water changes? Do you have an automatic system or manual?
@Mountain_Aquatics Жыл бұрын
It is all automatic, I have shown it a bit more in depth in another video. I will see if I can show it better in an upcoming video again if it fits in

Hello jamie i do like your new fishroom please can you tel me the size of your tanks ive been told you cannot keep goldfish in anything less than a 4 x2x 2, and did you travel down to star fisheries for your ryukin ? You can tel its quality these are my favourite of all fancy gold fish . i watched the bill ramsden video i actually went to visit him in the late 80s because he also lived in bolton just as i do he was very much into his black moors at the time but a very nice man who was always happy to help anyone . PAUL from bolton lancs
@Mountain_Aquatics Жыл бұрын
Hi Paul, the tanks are 4ft by 1ft by 1.5ft. The truth is it’s not about the size of the tank, but the quality of the water that is most important. The larger the tank the more waste your fish can pass before it becomes a problem etc and people say a bigger tank because of that. As I run a constant drip system my water quality is always good

Really enjoyed the room tour, is the little orange ranchu the salti on from star fisheries mate? Considering getting one myself :)
@Mountain_Aquatics2 жыл бұрын
The Salti is the larger of the ranchu in that tank, not sure how well you can see in this video though. Good shaped fish and I think worth spending the bit extra in, the wen growth is much better than my other ranchu. You’ll have to let me know if you get one

Where do you get the containers from?
@Mountain_Aquatics Жыл бұрын
The big grey ones? I bought them online. I think they are called euro pallet containers if that helps
