Theory: Tyler is just a copy of the real Tyler, who is mass producing Tylers to make videos so Tyler can sit back and relax while his Tylers do all the work for him. Every video is a new Tyler so Tyler doesn’t need to supply the Tylers with any food. Tyler can just let them wither away.

What I’ve learned from this video is that the best weapon in a game titled “Shotgun King” is a sword.

what you should have learned is that you need to get very, very, very lucky to get a blade build going. You need to get 2 of the 2-3 blade cards that exist (so pretty much all of them) to get a build with pretty much only blade damage. Also that if you stream the game to an audience your luck stat increases.

Yeah using those soul cards frequently can really make a run. Any time you can use a soul card and immediately get one back, it's probably the way to go, especially at the beginning of a round. It's really hard to make that a habit tho, my brain really wants to play it safe, but it's such an advantage

I can't believe Tyler didn't see the combo potential of the blade and extra turn from the soul. You can get a free blade kill once a turn, and then whenever you use a soul you take another turn. If you pinball between the pieces that give you a soul when dying you can have an infinite turn slicing and soul moving constantly until there is only pawns left

The extra turn from blade kills is limited to once per turn, so you could theoretically soul to a soul piece, blade for an extra turn, soul to another piece, then blade/shoot that for a maximum of 4 actions a turn.

6:35 honestly I think that was a mistake, it actually does not matter how many pieces there are, because you just one shot them all anyways; slowing them down will give you more time to slash them all down, and you could utilize it even more with an extra soul card, moving a bunch without using up turns. Also the other choice gives knockback to the gun, pushing enemies away from the blade, which is not ideal. Rules were made to be changed, and here you have found one of the rare exceptions to your rule.

Not really. The sheer amount of pieces, especially knights, that attack at a distance is dangerous. Plus, slower pieces means you have to approach them. Sure, you can use souls, but that's still very limited.

@@aguyontheinternet8436 Souls are still limited movement; you might be able to wack a lot of pieces every turn but that's still a net negative because you have to hit more pieces. -1 speed sounds great on paper, but it's really not slowing down the pieces that much considering they'll still be clumped together.

Blade builds are some of the most fun builds on the game and i always end the same way Going crazy blading everything and dying to a discovery check Talking about sinergues... This game needs some granede synergies... there's like 2 granade cards and like 3 cards that make granades bad i will love to play a granadier build the closest thing you can do is granade + the plague card and fill the white side with pawns

Visual suggestion: for everytime golden aging happends, the beard will grow longer (if it’s the first time, the beard will ‘start’ growing) OR Whenever golden aging happends, the chess piece will look older (pieces breaking off, piece getting a darker shade or accumulating dust, etc)
