Congratulations on your 38 days! As someone w/ over 20 years clean and sober, I'd recommend surrounding yourself w/ those supportive of your efforts to remain sober, b/c in the end, if you are an alcoholic, you're taking an action that will save your life. Therefore, it's best to have friends that support you, not those who make make passive-aggressive jokes about how your sobriety is somehow problematic for them.
