I Went To GREECE For 48 HOURS

Welcome to episode 2 of Tenny Around The World! 🇬🇷
In this episode we head to Greece for 48 HOURS to learn more about the Greek culture, Greek cuisine and fitness influence they've had on us all today!
Over the course of two days I try some incredible food including Gyros, mouth watering Loukoumades, protein cheesecake, chicken souvlaki, Greek alcohol taste test and more!
Along with the food, I also try a full calisthenics routine for the first time! It was incredibly difficult even with just bodyweight!

Key Lime Cheesecake Recipe:
CRUST:
1.) 1/2 Cup Almond Flour
2.) 2 TBS Coconut Oil
FILLING:
1.) 2 scoops BlueStar Key Lime protein powder
2.) 300G Greek Yogurt
3.) 16oz Fat Free Cream Cheese
4.) 1 Egg
5.) 2 Egg Whites
6.) 1/4 Cup Stevia
7.) Vanilla (Optional)
* Combine almond flour and coconut oil together and pat down on bottom of pan. Put in oven for 15 minutes at @350 degrees to brown
* Combine all filling ingredients into a bowl and combine well
* Add filling to crust and bake @325 for 30 minutes then reduce heat to 200 and continue to bake for additional 50min-1 hour.
* Let cool and enjoy!

Greek here, ouzo is meant to be drunk with ice (and maybe with a splash of water) along with a salty appetizer, also you can also add sour cherry juice of you're feeling fancy. For the metaxa though, we usually drink it in funerals or during the winter to feel warm

@@mattbannister6850 instead of lemon use vinegar and also you need some olive oil but not much.You can put around 4 table spoons per kilo of yogurt.Considering you gonna eat some lean meat and veggies with it its not gonna make a crazy difference.

Opa!!! I am from Greece and i' ve just learned that the first cheece cake was created here :D Next time try mouzaka (traditional food) and of course frape (it' s a type of coffee we drink here). Ouzo is a drink that is made with aniseed. Mainly you fill a glass with ice half ouzo and half water. Some times instead of water you mix it with sour cherry juice, lemon juice, strawberry juice, orange soda etc. Fun fact: The most common breakfast for Greeks is just a Freddo Espresso or Freddo Cappuccino. A tip for tzitziki: Grate the cucumber the way you did and to take off the excess water just put it in a strainer and press it till it has no water, also you need to put vinegar in and if you want to spice it up a little bit you can put carrot.

Half greek here. More commonly, we put pork in gyros or souvlaki, but we respect the diets; everything else- 9/10, Greek approved! Side note: The massive quantity of bread and eating sweets for breakfast is pretty accurate.

Hey Will, great video again. Get a cheap $30 yoghurt maker and use half and half with an added starter culture from the batch before and a tablespoon of inulin and let it go 48 hours - super thick like cheesecake after it cools in the fridge - minimal time commitment. There is a science to it. Your body is constantly thinking about food when you get into a calorie deficit and keep pushing it. It's literally signaling food to your brain saying "Yo dumbass you need to feed me" and so food stays in your brain all day.
