Happy Valentine's Day everyone! Today I'm on a quest to see which foods will get you in the mood for valentines day. For the next 24 hours I only eat aphrodisiacs foods to see what happens to my mind, body and sweatpants...... Throughout this vlog I share a number of foods that can spice up your life. Good video really, I’m just an Ancient Greek nerd and you said that pomegranates were a big thing related to Aphrodite while really it was persephone. It comes from when hades abducted persephone to the underworld to make his wife. When Demeter her mother and goddess of agriculture found out she got furious and confronted Zeus. Zeus then demanded for Persephone’s return but since in the underworld she ate a pomegranate seed, and there’s a rule that once you eat in the underworld your stick there, but since it was just the one seed Persephone ended up only having to stay there for 3 months of the year.
