Hi Tim, here I am deep in my own supreme fight or flight mode, and your descriptions of such moments resonate so accurately - Thank you for sharing these journeys, where the epic trees with the thick trunks and the fields for miles and the spirit reindeers and the wild of the Arctic waters offer soothing whispers from mother nature. Wishing you well and sending virtual fairy dust xx -lw

To fight our dragons grown on fear is the biggest and fundamental thing we can do in our lives. Shamans say there are only two key basic emtions behind everthing we act up on - love OR fear… all other emotions are derived from these two. Let all your further steps are blessed by love ❤️. It’s task for each of us and easy to say, while hard to keep focus on in every moment. Helmet of wisdom, sword of love, shield of humility! One woman once told me this and it changed my life. Bless you Tim!

It absolutely is, yes. It's also often hard to really know whether I'm acting from fear or love. They both dress up as each other frequently!

The fear in the squirrel as it sees the owls silhouette . Cut into the fabric of its being without needed to be taught. How many earthy survival fears mingle with this fast paced world. I love that you slow the world down to create that distance and respect the fear without letting it crush you. So much to think about here. Thank you for putting words to all this. It’s something we all grapple with and I’ve not heard a reflection like this. So good to see you out in the raw nature as that philosopher friend I know. ❤

Ahh thank you so much! I'm still finding my feet here - it feels important to speak honestly as I don't think that gets enough airtime - but on the flipside the stuff that does get airtime gets airtime for a reason. The next step is figuring out how to roll this up into something that also plays the youtube game - but all in the fullness of time. It's an interesting challenge!

This might be obvious, but don't forget to cry Tim! We don't need to see it, but I sense you need to do it. For me, that's how the trauma flows out.

Hi Tim 🙂 Thanks for sharing your journey. I guess there is some synchronicity at work for your email, with a link to this channel, to arrive just when I needed it 🤔 Very thought provoking, about travel and making music...especially about fear...of both death and quite possibly worse, a fear of living! 🤔 I look forward to seeing more and all the best for your channel 🙏

Inspiring. There's a specific sound in this current video soundtrack... it immediately reminds me of the Ice Cap Zone in Sonic the Hedgehog. For me it's so closely associated with the cold.
