Potato corner is very popular here in the Philippines... But nobody buys it plain. 😅 They are known for their flavors. I recommend bbq, cheese and sour cream.

Tonkotsu Kazan Ramen is a popular ramen franchise from Japan! The red thing they covered the ramen bowl up before you eat is meant to look like a volcano with steam as the ash escaping from the crater, hence the name kazan (火山), or 화산 (hwasan) when read as hanja.

She says its very popular in the philipines, and we have some locations here in CA! malls, fancy food courts in rich neighborhoods, thats how you know its the real deal!! Our favorite flavors are bbq and sour cream and onion :) I hope youre able to try the fries with the seasonings on them!

Food courts in Thailand are actually good, they're more like food centers with actual good and famous restaurants, unlike mall food courts in other countries, which are generic

At around $8 for the ramen, it's great value compared to good ramen available in other countries. But it's still almost 3 times the cost of Thai soups like Tom Yum Goon or Tom Ka Gai. If you exit the mall on the road away from the beach, and walk south; you'll find 3 or 4 street food places in front if a giant parking lot. The customers are locals getting lunch for around $2/dish.

jimmy you should give potato corner another try. this time with seasoning, because its what theyre known for and dare i say, its damn good. chili bbq is a good choice if you want heat, cheese is a good choice for something sweet and lastly sour cream and onion with bbq is a fantastic combo.

Terminal 21 in Pattay is really nice. Just my opinion of course but the best food court in Bangkok is Siam Paragon. But I would think recording inside is a nightmare it's really noisy. Another great Thailand video JImmy!

Kazan, the last two characters in the ramen restaurant name means, "Volcano" which makes sense based on the shape of the ramen and the red bowl thing they put on top. Looks like a volcano. Never seen that style of ramen in Japan after two years of living there. Tonkotsu, yes, but not tonkotsu volcano. 🌋😁

Any time i’m in Asia the food courts always amaze me. Then i return home to the Netherlands and they just don’t exist. There are some that try but they are always full restaurant prices, mediocre food and generally theres a pasta, a pokebowl, a burrito place and a chain restaurant or two so the variety sucks as well :(

You kept saying cheap this, cheap that, but that's definitely not cheap for Thailand. It might look cheap but that's just because you're converting a strong currency with a very weak one... At those prices in Thailand, you should expect decent food. But, as in most undeveloped countries, big international chains are usually more expensive anyway.
