@@Sonasic I mean, there is a pretty big middle class in Thailand. This guy is decently pretty well off but not so uncommon that it is super rare and he was nice and humble so I don't see any issue with it. Also, the reason the house is big is because its a bigger family, siblings + grandparents, a big house is needed. Considering Jimmy is an English speaking channel, I expect his viewers from Thailand to be decently well-off since they're able to converse fluently in English.

I'm Korean and just got back from Thailand and I have to say Thai food is better than Korean food. Their fried chicken is better too. I often experience regular gastro issues in Korea, but I didn't have one single problem while in Thailand. I think the citrus juices and herbs help with digestion. Lastly, Thailand had almost no bugs! I've been bitten way more in Korea. Lovely family by the way.

It's great that you love Thai food! I'm Thai and Korean food is so much more diverse! Maybe it's bc we grew up eating our own country's food so I can't help but find myself preferring Korean food XD, especially bc the ingredients we use for Thai food a lot of the time contains similar flavors like citrus/sour and stir-fried w/ thai basil. Imo Korean fried chicken is so much better tasting but Thai fried chicken is definitely way easier on the stomach and has a good balance. Btw, Thailand has A LOT of bugs so your lucky you haven't gotten bitten haha. Great that we can both respect and share our cultures!

Thai people are the friendliest and welcoming people. Grandparents are the best, they're more about making sure you're comfortable when visiting and eating till you're full, even if they're full, to the grandparents and parents, you're not full enough🤣. My family when we have guests, we don't let them lift a finger. We want them to relax and enjoy their time. They are visiting to get away from their daily lives.

yes! thai mango sticky rice is one of the best sweet rice desserts ever! a lot of asian desserts incorporate rice or sticky rice, like the japanese have delicious mango mochi made from rice. hopefully you can try someday
