@@SH1974 They actually don't have that many displayed in their store. On the 'balcony' there's a corner dedicated to ukes. From what I saw the last few times I went there, they have around 50 different ukes on display there (don't quote me on that, I couldn't visit them this year). But you're right, it's pretty time consuming going through the different showrooms. I usually spend a whole day there.

The last time I've been there (which was around May) they had only 4-5 Ukuleles "hanging around". I'm pretty sure you could ask them to grab one from their stock but as far as I remember their ukulele section wasn't that big. Sadly.

thomann is really amazing. didn't know it is actually the biggest music store in the world, thought it is only the biggest in europe or so. but what is really crazy .. or shocking .. is the way you get there. the store is located almost in the middle of nowhere. far from close to larger cities, like you would expect. you leave the autobahn, and the roads and villages are getting smaller and smaller .. until the last mile, when you pop out of the woods and then there is this tiny village in front of you with some very huge (HUGE!) buildings... you just have to see that on your own ;)

If you ever go to Tokyo--that's in Japan by the way--I don't know how this isn't a tourist mecca but there's a place called Guitar Street. They have all kinds of music shops in just a few blocks, but guitar shops alone I lost count at about 22. Some of the shops are just acoustic or classical guitars, at least one ukulele only shop, but most of them have separate floor for Fender, Gibson, and so on. And yes, of course, many guitars that cost about the same as a new car.

I was taking a break from playing my instrument (bass clarinet, though I play clarinet and tenor saxophone as well) and partway through the video I turned the volume up all the way and started quietly playing cold duck time at a low volume and then right when I got near the end of the head of the tune, my first time going through the song I hear her say jazzy. I just find it ironic I started playing a jazz song like 20 seconds before that part of the video and was still playing it when she got up the saxophone section. Also good chose on not playing them because you would’ve had to purchase a reed, because you need a reed to be properly placed on the mouth piece so it can vibrate and make sound, plus it is unsanitary like Elise stated

Well, I'm a beginner too but I thought of something. It hurts your fingers right? Well when you get better and you can play you can also buy felt picks. I reccomend dont buy them as a beginner because, you should learn without it just in case. Hope that helped 😀

Well, welcome to a musician’s domain, the the main fortress for battle! Also, when playing timpani, hit the timpani harder. The area with the soundboard and keytar, is the synthesizer area. When you hit a Tam Tam/Gong, never be afraid to hit it. It’s common for the ropes to break, and we simply just either replace the ropes, or, the actual Tam Tam/Gong and ropes. But this is my domain. You’re lucky.
