What I like about your video: You seemlessly talk to people. Many foreigners are too shy (or prejudiced) to start a conversation. Btw: in Düssedorf at the market, this was a wheat beer. Usually a more Bavarian beer, but for sure you get it all over Germany.

Thanks for the kind words! I think you gotta try talk to people for the experience, I enjoy speaking to new people anyway so it’s pretty comfortable for me, but you could make new friends from it, learn about their story or their city’s history- all adds to the adventure

A tip for your girlfriend (beer is too bitter). Order a "Radler" next time. Its a mixture of beer and lemonade. 😀

Haha thanks my man, I’ll look out for it. When we was in Belgium there was a beer that was designed for people that don’t like the taste of beer- I forgot what it was called though 😫

As the weekend went on- and I grabbed breakfast at 9-10AM … I saw people in the kebab restaurants so I quickly learned! 🤣

Döner is completely different in the UK. It's very greasy, made from unseasoned lamb from 100% mincemeat and it's not served in a Turkish ramazan pidesi flatbread with all the salads and sauces. You get a seperate polystyrene container full of iceberg lettuce with a slice of tomato on top and a pot of garlic mayo. It has a reputation of being made for drunk people leaving the pub. I can eat the ones in Germany for breakfast in comparison. Indian food in the UK is next level though.
@RyandLoz
@RyandLoz 3 ай бұрын
@@lazrseagull54 wow, you hit the nail on the head there 🤣 it is most definitely a notorious ‘meal’ after a night on the booze - but it is super greasy for sure. I hardly ever have kebab in the UK for that reason. I did try a Podolski’s wrap and it was lovely. When I go back to Germany next I will definitely indulge in a few more kebabs / Döner’s- regardless of the time. (Still maybe not before 10:00 🤣)

The English fans are the worst. The Scots on the other hand were lovely to have. Great chaps drinking lots of beer and having a great time without insulting anyone.

Agreed - We have a reputation for sure, some good and some bad. The Scot’s were great- England / Scotland have a bit of an issue (depending again on who you speak to) but every Scotsman was very friendly, up for a chat and again- as you can see in the video, they were jumping around with the German fans.

Possibly? But I don’t think the prices were unreasonable - some places in England (even outside London) you could pay £6/6.50 for a beer 🍺 and I think that the 1 L beers there were about €10 … which is around £8.50ish but for 2 pints. Good atmosphere in there, the only downside was it was particularly difficult to get a beer ordered in the first place 🤣

OK... when the english singing the 10 German bomber song, it is really unenglish because I experienced only polite people in England.... to insult your host caused a damage to your reputation.... and when you take a DNA Test you will find out most of the fans have a German DNA😂😂..... It is disrespectful, full stop. I have had great hospitality from German people - comparatively to Albanian fans snapping Spaghetti in front of Italians, a great bit of light-hearted banter. I don't see a way to stop England fans singing it sadly. Having traveled around Europe in a motorhome- I have noticed that German people like to stare at you haha- English people tend to look at you and perhaps look away- but I found out that the Germans are known for staring (And nude camping?!) Thanks for the comment brother! Hope you enjoyed the video
