Held every year in Mosocow, Russia the Moscow Motorcycle Festival attracts over 15,000 riders from all over Moscow and beyound. The Moscow Motorcycle Festival takes place on Vorobyovy Gory, Sparrow hill and includes a bike rally around Moscow Centre and to end it all a festival and concert.

And now it has been restored, maintaining 100% identity according to the architectural archives of 1937! The legendary restaurant of that era was restored; the park itself has sports grounds, tennis courts, a beach with swimming pools, bars and dance music. There are sun loungers along the entire port embankment. And in the evening there is absolutely incredible beauty!!

Buses that don’t run on fuel also contribute - they are called eletrobues - they look the same but r eco-friendly. I wish all of them were like that. The funniest thing happened to me in St. Pete. I was riding a tram when the tram stopped. The driver walked out of his cabin; he put away the electric wires; he walked back to his cabin (it all took less than a minute - he knew what he was doing). And the trolley turned into a bus and moved on.

As a motorcycle enthusiast I enjoyed this video very much. ❤ I am a big fan and proud owner of (few) Ducati (made in Italy) motorcycles and I spotted a few in Moscow, Ducati Monster, Multistrada and even Panigale. I was surprised to see so many Indians and Harley-Davidson (made in USA). I live 1800 km from Moscow to the northeast. At the bike show we also have free food for the public. True, they usually put a box there into which you can throw money, as much as you don’t mind. But you don’t have to throw it away, they’ll still feed you and give you tea :)) The atmosphere is full of friendliness. We also have several rock bands giving concerts. Cool, but very loud. Then my ears ring))

Originally, buckwheat +canned meat, rye bread and tea is considered to be traditional simple soldier food. Therefore they cook buckwheat in a special oven used by the militaries. No idea if it is cooked for soldiers nowadays but we like it here as if cooked like this in a big oven, it is yummy, and it is impossible to get the same taste if cooked at home

I've lost my passport in London and visited the police station near my LSE business school, to get the lost certificate for the embassy. Well, in my mother's Russian small rural town of 6000 population the police station is much cleaner, and the policemen are much more effective and friendly. The same goes for cleanness and safety in the streets.

Let me say that “sparrow hill” is not a correct name for this place. The original name is “Vorobieovy Gory”, and “Vorobieov” (which can be translated as “Sparrows”) is a widely distributed Russian family name. This particular location is named after the boyar (landlord aristocracy in medieval Russia) family Vorobieovy, who had this territory as their parcel, and, therefore, the correct translation of this toponym is “Vorobieovs Mountains”.

Воспоминания чудесные, потом на машине "Москвич-2140", экспортный вариант кстати, потомна всяких японках. Сейчас у сыновей японцы " Марк-2" Турбо. И катались мы и до сих пор по чудесному Приморскому краю, кстати, мотопробеги проходят и во Владивостоке, а ещё там есть Примринг, где проходят дрифт. соревнования и туда съезжаются дрифтеры со всей России, а также с других стран, в частности из Японии. А ещё в Европе- гей парады, а во Владивостоке- парады в день Тигра, ведь Уссурийский тигр наш зверь, охраняемый государством. Видео полно на ютубе, ищите и восхищайтесь. У нас в селе проходят праздники очень весело, концерт, угощение из проходной кухни и раздача всем детям мороженого. Атракционы и массовые игры и конкурсы. Под конец мероприятия танцы до 24 часов. Люди очень довольны, но мусора не наблюдала, устанавливаются дополнительные переносные мусорки. В связи с СВО праздников стало меньше, но масленица с угощение блинами , День победы и день села проводились. Раньше было в 2 раза больше. Но мы не обиде, все понимают , что надо помогать Родине посильно.

Got rid of my BMW during pandemic am going to do a motorbike from UK to Vladivostok when things are easier. Hi Russell, great video indeed! I googled for the maker of the Valkyrie and Gold Wing motor bikes and it's Honda - for both! They are both touring bikes with flat-6 engines! In your walk about I saw a lot of Hondas, then Yamahas and BMWs. Few kawasakis and I din't spot a single Suzuki who are a major motor bike manufacturer competing in F1 with Honda, Yamaha and Kawasaki. May be I missed them. I spotted also a few Triumphs!
