Malta was green once, a hell of a long time ago, before the farmers chopped down all the trees, and the rains caused massive erosion.

Lovely walk at one of the nicest, calmer parts of Malta. Also, well done, great attempt at reading Maltese 👏🏻

Lovely walk. Nice to see a totally different side of Malta. I remember my Grandma telling me there aren't a lot of green areas in Malta. Thank you for sharing Alex. ❤️🇲🇹

This was my favourite spot to come and run around as a child , where it’s says not to go , if you dare to go like we did as kids is actually the shafts where the soldiers used to hide during the war . I remember catching little frogs and playing with the slimy things. Many many great memories especially catching dragon flies and scarring the crap out of my mother!

I liked this place and that would be cool if you guys make a video throwing a bbq maybe bring a small radio for some music. But even the fact that this place sounded quite and peaceful. I think it would be awesome to visit that park.❤

I have been to Malta twice, and I have never been. I believe it is somewhere near Attard. I can only enjoy myself in places like that when alone, and I like being alone. Alex said fresh quite a lot, the Maltese word is quite similar. I am not a beach goer. In Australia I have seen enough beaches to last two more lifetimes. I was born in Malta, spent 3 years there, I can't speak Maltese, it's a hard language.

I can read Maltese, my sister taught me as a child, I just don't know what I am saying. Haxix is what my mother used to refer to vegetables.

I visited this place for the first time on the 29th of June 1959, with father and other siblings. cars were very rare those days. we managed to hire a black Morris from Zurrieq to Busket. remember the quantity of big animals I saw for the first time. I also remember the smelling of frying rabbits everywhere.

I’ve googled it so you don’t have to planted by the Knights of Malta for a hunting ground. There are olive trees, vineyard, lemon groves, orange trees and shrubs. It’s the only wooded area in Malta. Wow
@Ponto-zv9vf22 күн бұрын
That's true. For good or ill, the Knights may have been colonizers and keep the Maltese people down as serfs, but they did build, Valletta is due to the Knights. There wasn't much before except Melita, the Muslims called it Mdina, the Muslims made Mdina smaller, built walls and a moat, they didn't do much else.
