This is absolutely o r if the most amazing pre fan homes I’ve seen!! I’m actively scouting for another property I just bought. I’m going to NS next week touring the factory again and a few places they built!! We have never seen such high end quality workmanship. Going to work with design team to master our dream!! We had the privilege of seeing this guest house being finalized for transfer to PEI when we visited the Lloyoll factory last Fall. Is the residence a Skali High Cuboid or another custom construct? Perhaps adding that would been helpful at the end. In any case, these buildings are prefect for PEI’s North Shore.

I have always wanted to go to PEI. You lucky man! Hurricane is a pretty remote possibility but the climate at that latitude and on salt water has got to be hard on wood siding. The TV room is killer. Big time storage and light but the TV is in a recessed little nook so it should be good. Any home I live in should have book cases. I love my books. And a desk for desk stuff. Everyone has files and bills. . Nice modular home. If they can make it work there it should be good almost anywhere. That’s more deck than I could ever need but not everyone is living alone. I would go with a cement patio. Pressured-treated wood decks only have about a 20-year lifespan. 20 years will fly by, then you have a major construction project on your hands.

Kerry !!! As you know, I've said over and over again that the Lloyoll Skali is the best pre-fab home in North America. It's second to none. For those who don't know, Kerry has featured the Lloyoll Skali in a past video. Check it out. The main house comes with a wood burning fireplace for chilly nights and natural ambiance. Nothing beats a real fire. The Corten steel siding, a la Richard Serra, is breathtakingly beautiful. Rusted to perfection, weathered by nature. The interior has no paint which means no upkeep. This home is severely minimalist but is also warm and cozy. Decades from now, the patina, caused by sun, wind, water, and snow, will soften the harsh right angles and make this home even more beautiful. The Lloyoll Skali is both rugged and elegant... just like Kerry. I bow to you both.

For me, all other prefabs fall short and the Lloyoll Skali reigns supreme, though we all have different needs and aesthetic tastes. I'm happy to know that this home here is on the east coast. If I had the money, I would love to build a Lloyoll Skali of my own and to see this home in person too.

@@KerryTarnow A pop filter is a shield of nylon or metallic mesh designed to prevent heavy air blasts from one's speech overloading the microphone, particularly with hard "p" and "k" sounds. When these pops occur, there is distinct cracking sound in the recording and it is a nightmare to get rid of in post-production and isn't great for listeners, either. No offense, seriously, but also, your wind filter isn't good enough. I know you have a real job and this is a much-appreciated-by-me hobby of yours, so I am willing to throw in on some equipment.

Very cool, though a bit too "minimalistic" for me. For example, it doesn't seem like you'd want to hang anything on the walls because then you'd have holes in a wood wall. It's not like drywall were you can just putty over a nail hole. I don't know, it's cool but seems al little odd as well. Quite the property, though.

The most common design flaw I am seeing in many of your prefab homes are numerous honking huge windows! These make these "homes" look like office buildings ;) This may play well for exhbitionists and warm climates, but in colder parts of North America it looks silly. Plus one needs to buy a LOT of large curtains or blinds. It would make sense to reduce the window sizes to match the room type: large for public spaces like living rooms or dining rooms, medium to small for bedrooms. Perhaps strategically placed skylights?

I love the wall of windows and the kitchenette is fine for beverages and snacks. @7:01, note the black mini split, that is a nice touch and shows that they didn't just go with basic.
