Love the conversion about watch modding. I think the casioak scene is really fascinating and could be a lot of fun with all the dials, hands, cases and straps that are appearing. You can really create something truely personal and unique with a G-Shock GA2100 or GA2110. I hope it spreads to other brands and modles.

Seiko modifying has been big for a long time. That community has done a pretty good job of both doing “coach built” complete custom watches as well as modifying a watch inspired by another but not pretending it’s the original.

For me, we don’t tend to mod classic cars like ac cobras or old Ferraris or lambos etc. but we do mod common cars more so like Mazdas etc so I think the same goes for watches where you wouldn’t mod a Rolex or RM but you would mod a Casio or seiko
