Nice! Your part on Touch of Heaven (David Funk) is one of my favorite things to play. Not complicated, sonically rich and perfectly supportive of the dynamics of the song

Your tone on this is fascinating. I see that you’re on your neck pick up yet the clarity is astounding. Are you really just getting the tone from the way you set up your amps or do you have some secret sauce like a pick-up with alnico 2 in the neck while having alnico 5 in the bridge to allow for more clarity in the neck position? Are you using the EB-10 to cut some lows?

Definitely a little secret sauce with the approach. I most often play on bridge pickup, but enjoy doing this kind of thing on the neck pickup. It has to do with where you’re picking when you’re on the neck pickup to get that crisp top end.

So awesome bro! Were you the MD in this tour ?

No it was the Bass player Mathew Ogden, and then Jonathan Lee the other electric player when Mathew swapped out.

Beautiful tone. Is this through an amp modeler or live amps?

Would this reverb be your washed cloud with slightly lower mix?
@KenyonReed2 Жыл бұрын
I actually used a few different things. The beginning was my reverb from the song “Beauty” on Come Up Here, mixed with the only reverb that is in the synesthesia pedal. And then from the bridge and on I used the Bright cloud.
