Do not get fooled by the title. This is a mistaken identity drama where the ML tortures and abuses the FL for his mistress untill the last 5 minutes of the drama. He even wants to kill her child but is very happy when the mistress is pregnant with his child - she pretends to be. The good thing: FL leaves. The bad thing: he follows her and given his character, he will never let her escape. The acting was good.

Man, I LOVE the way this ended. First, the GTB fake being basically murdered (she’ll live the rest of her life as a vegetable so this is actually worse than death) because she was impersonating the FL has to be one of the best uses of the “GTB picks up the Love Talisman and pretends to be the true love” tropes I’ve seen. I didn’t know how much I wanted this until I saw it. Yes, by all means impersonate the FL and steal her name, her man and her good life. But also inherit her enemies. I hate stories where the FL is telling the truth and giving reasonable arguments but the GTB keeps obviously lying and the ML doesn’t use his brain. They kept the reveal until the end, and they let ML be smart enough to understand the truth once it was pointed out to him. And of course, I LOVE that she doesn’t take him back. Because no one deserved to be treated the way he treated her. You don’t need to be someone’s true love to get some basic respect and fair treatment. She was his wife and he turned her into a maid and enabled the servants to torture and humiliate her. And that’s not even going into the things he did to hurt her. I loved how she tricked him. “Oh I have cravings, get me food” and he’s all puppy dog wagging his tail, wanting so desperately to please her. She used his desperation for her forgiveness against him in the best way, and really twisted the knife in. The tortured bits are a loooot, but the end made this so much worthwhile.
