I Wish I Bought an E30 SOONER!

If you've known me long enough, you would have learned that I have a serious problem, not as serious as others but my car collection and constantly purchasing additional vehicles is a real issue, especially for space!
Yeah, if you haven't figured it out, I bought another one (but it's cool, right!?). This here is my new-to-me 1987 BMW 325es with the 325i engine swap (late version). It's had the book thrown at it in the form of upgrades as well. Performance bushings, mounts, intake, headers, exhaust, tune, etc. It does perform well for what it is!
This one might stay just as it is, it's quite good as it sits. For the red one? perhaps it'll get an N54 swap or a 2.7 stroker. Would be kind of neat to have a 327i badge on the trunk lol.

Hi Tony, I recently stumbled upon your channel while looking for N54 oil cooler DIYs and am now a subscriber. I love the E30! I’d love to see more content on your fixing up the mechanical and electrical issues, like getting the dials to work on the dashboard (speedo / tach / odometer). And maybe swapping out the tasteless upgrades for more tasteful upgrades. An interesting angle would be how to go about finding parts for a near 40 y.o. car. Good luck and have fun. Jeff

lmao, will do! this one fortunately had the "rising" or "raised" engine mounts to put it above the steering rack. never knew! The red one will get a skid plate for sure.

2500 lbs? Interesting as they are 2249 stock. Maybe the wheels and other mods added some weight, possibly the transmission I would assume

I'm not sure, with this weigh scale I've noticed vehicles are weighing consistently higher on it than advertised.
