I just don't think there will ever be anybody like him ever again...the charisma, the VOICE!, the style, the pure talent to wow the crowd, write, play(piano and guitar)and the energy of 5 people. What a cruel joke to have to leave the world so young. If you haven't done "Killer Queen" then you better hop on it. It's great. I promise.

This was from Live Aid in 1985 a concert to rsuse money for famine relief in Ethiopia. All the top artists played with each getting a 20 minute set each. 72,000 people here at Wembley, 100,000 people at a concurrent concert in Philadelphia, and 1.2 billion people watching on TV. Queen completely stole the entire show, and almost 40 years later Queens oerformance us ranked as the greatest live performance in Rock history. Please react to the whole performance! 👑🎤🥁🎸🎹♥️

I always wonder when I hear this song how many people get one line of the lyrics. "Through wars of worlds, invaded by Mars" refers to the famous incident in 1938 where Orson Welles created pandemonium by re-doing the Sci Fi story, War of the Worlds, as a newscast. He had an awful lot of people listening on the radio who thought we were actually being invaded by extraterrestrials. :)

Loved your reaction, thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed the performance. It was truly a fantastic performance but this is from their 22 min set at Live Aid in 1985. I strongly recommend you watch the entire 22 min performance as a whole. It is still today considered the best live rock performance ever. When you split the Queen performances of Live Aid into single one song reactions, you're not able to appreciate the magic that happened that day. Yes, every song they did was fantastic but it was the non-stop hit after hit after hit along with the crowd's reaction that truly made their set stand out from every other live performance from the beginning of time. it was broadcast to a television viewing audience of 1.5 to 1.9 billion, depending on the source, all over the world. You simply cannot experience how great it was without watching the entire performance as a whole back-to-back and letting yourself feel and take in everything. People will watch the entire reaction with you but if you don't want to do one that long, I'd encourage you to watch it on your own time because there really was magic that day and everyone should watch the entire performance at least once to experience the magic. It's just that good. When you are watching it, keep in mind they only had a certain amount of time on stage because of how many bands were performing that day. It was a huge satellite event. A band in London would perform their set then they would throw it live to the U.S. for 20 min. while the next act in London set up then they would throw it back to London. They also had similar venues in other countries around the world they would sometimes toss to. There is a stop-light at the front of the stage which you'll be able to see in certain shots. They were told when the light turned yellow, they needed to wrap it up because when it turned red, the power would be cut off so there was a lot of pressure to finish on-time.

Radio Ga Ga was one of six songs performed by Queen at Live Aid 1985. Each artist was given 20 min to perform their hits, so to speak. Queen took it seriously rehearsing to make sure their set list was exactly 20 min. 👉 Bohemian Rhapsody, Radio Ga Ga, Hammer To Fall, Crazy Little Thing Called Love, We Will Rock you, & We Are The Champions!! I recommend the full Queen set list .. brilliant.

1.5 billion people watched that performance live--from Wembley Stadium in London (72,000), JFK Stadium in Philadelphia (89,000), or on TV in bars all over the world. Queen's performance is essentially considered the best set of all of the over 75 acts that played LiveAid. I was 15 then, and had 3 people in front of me in line at Ticketmaster when the Philly show sold out. I've never gotten over it.

Your comment about always being ON I just went to the North American Queen convention (Aug 2022) and Peter Freestone (Freddie's personal assistant) said that near the end of his touring days he'd be dressed ready for the show but looking limp like a rag doll and 2 people woul essentially carry Freddie to the spot he needs to be right before he goes on (still being limp-like) and the moment he heard his opening notes (cue to go on stage) he'd spring to life. What this says is - He gave it ALL to the stage and audience every single time!!!!❤️

You missed the best part, so watch the whole Live Aid set. You must keep in mind that the crowd (Live Aid) even didn't know they were coming, because Queen were added to the list when all the tickets were sold out. THIS WAS NOT A QUEEN CROWD BUT STILL THEY STOLE THE SHOW. Freddie commanded the crowd at 2 stadiums simultaneously (Wembley and Philadelphia) and HAD THEM IN THE PALM OF HIS HAND. Queen's performance at Live Aid is voted MOST ICONIC festiwal moment in music history. BTW Radio Ga Ga = Lady Gaga ,she is a huge Queen fan
