It’s like famous restaurants when you go to eat fine dining, the famous chef that cooks there never actually cooks just inspects his team’s plates, it’s the same
@WOOOPdoctorFROGhere4 жыл бұрын
yeah but the supervised chefs are generally competent. Whereas the technicians you get in Turkey have absolutely no clue what they are doing. So to continue your analogy, its like going to a world famous chef's restaurant but they don't cook the food, instead they invite a tramp in off the street to spit on a plate and serve it to you with a side of human excrement.

Hey MATTDOMINANCE when I had my 1800 FUE Hair Transplant on my Hairline in August 2019 I had my head completely shaved to the bald to have the procedure done. I'm now 7+ Months post-op and my normal front/mid-scalp hair that wasn't part of the transplant has been growing back super thin. I've been on Finasteride and Minoxidil / Derma Roll, thickening Shampoo / Vitamin-D supplements and Laser Hair for the past 4-7 months after taking a 7-8 month break beforehand. The Transplant growth is improving and I'm happy with. My normal hair improved significantly from Month 4-6 but since month 6 it hasn't had much change. During my 6-month review I showed monthly photos and they said it was NOT "shock loss" and that cutting my hair to bald would have possibly removed the hairs that were going to die off eventually anyway. I'm now fearing that my hair will never be as thicker/fuller as it use to be back 8-12 months ago. I'm just hoping that eventually with continuous medication usage that it will get better. I'm just super worried that it won't get back to what it looked like pre-transplant before I shaved my head for the first time in over 12 years. To give you an estimate guess, my mid-scalp hair before transplant was about 2 to 3x better, thicker, fuller and I couldn't see through my scalp on natural daylight. Right NOW (it has improved and using Fibers makes a big difference, but still not that great without fibers) when I look at my hair in natural daylight through a window in a dark room I can see my back and sides hair very thick and full, cannot see my scalp, my transplant LINE (not the full strands of hair but the hairline/root and maybe a little of the thick stands coming out over time) I cannot see though and its just pure hair which is nice, but the mid-scalp I can see its very thin and slightly see my scalp. When my hair is long I can basically see circle of thin hair and it doesn't look great at all. I've had 1 haircut and about to have a second for the back and sides only, I've never cut my mid-scalp hair since the transplant almost 7-8 months ago. Thoughts, advice and suggestions from anyone by reading this information? Thanks.

Hi Philip! I went to Vera Clinic. It was a great experience! Their hospital moved to a new build location- it is very nice. There was a large team involved. At one point, there was two techs sorting through the grafts after they were extracted to make sure they were not damaged, while the doctor, and two more techs were together implanting the grafts. I had a total of 5860 grafts done, which took a total of 6 hours. Half way through, they will wake you to bring you a very big lunch. I am currently in month 11. At month 8, I began to get quite concerned that I still had some bare spots around the crown, however new hair continued to come out, and still to this day. It is amazing feeling new hairs each week. The clinic follows up every few months to request updates, and photos, which I really feel is showing their commitment to making sure I have a good result. They did a fantastic job on the crown as it feels/looks packed, and frontal hairline as well. Feel free to reach out for any post operation tips. Studied this for many years before going to get a hair transplant, and followed MATTDOMINANCE since the beginning of his journey. He has truly been amazing to educate himself, and share all of his knowledge with us. Thank you so much Matt! I received an amazing result while having a healthy diet, supplementing the body with vitamins to support the thyroid, and having good hair/scalp care routines. This clinic also specializes in dental implants, so you may get a free dental cleaning haha. If you have a travel partner, they may receive this as well. Hope you have a great experience!! All the Best.

@letsgethair4 жыл бұрын
In their post op photos, you can see improperly trimmed grafts with a thick layer of connective tissue sheath - which optically makes grafts more densely packed next to each other than they really are. No donor area photos on their insta or website which would emphasize the importance of a proper donor area management which is is clearly an unknown term for this clinic since they like doing 4000+,5000+ or even 6000+ grafts in one session. Graft splitting plays a role here as well without doubt. They show flashy results (what guys want to see) instead of also showing what guys need to see (detailed donor before and afters)

Well i live in Australia. So Covid had screwed me too... I'm hoping by June/July 2021.... they gave a quote of 6000USD for half of the top head at front. So I'd imaging another 3k to get back to the crown. I'll be paying AUD. So I'm budgeting about 14k for the trip and if they decide I need the entire top. And if thet gets me a good 8 to 10 years. Then their will be better advancements in cloning hair and not needed to be re harvested from the sides to fill in any gaps on top. I'm a hairdresser. So I'm looking quite closely and I like the density that hair of Istanbul do... but obviously the hair strands themselves are based on your current hair texture. So here's to hoping that Japan can make those cloning advances happen.
