I read through it and God opened my eyes. If we are truly wanting to follow Jesus we will suffer. We can’t hold onto everything, be willing to give it up. Glorify God even in your suffering, let Him take the lead and follow Him. Don’t be confused when hard times come, get rid of bitterness and let the Holy Spirit mold you, and refine you. Jesus was our example to follow

Jesus only did public ministry for 3 years. Then he ran away and hid. If we were to be like Jesus, we would all float away to Heaven to retire after 3 years of work. Sign me up for that. Jesus Schmesus.

@@bobhubson8511 Jesus willingly laid down his life on the cross and shed innocent blood for you and the sins of the entire world. He faced agonizing pain, cruelty and torture at the hands of His own creation because he wanted you to have eternal life. As John the Baptist stated He was the Lamb of God, slain before the foundation of the world. He loved you so much as stated in John 3:16 so that you would not perish but have eternal life through Christ Jesus. He forsook his holy estate as the King of Kings and Lord of Lords came to earth as a lowly servant to pay a debt that you could not pay. Scoffing at this gift is like shaking your head at someone handing you a million dollars and say here this is yours and you do not have to do anything to receive it. It's a free gift. Pleast accept salvation. You are not promised tomorrow.

If we reduce our existence to a "heads God wins, tails we lose" view. We have done nothing but accept every outcome no matter what. It's a coping mechanism. Not much different than alcohol or other drug use. An escape from what we actually feel, replaced by a foreign and artificial reality. Faith is gaslighting. It's mass self gaslighting which has become socially acceptable.

This video made me cry. I always loved the book of Job ❤ Very meaningful. I think it's just another representation of God and the verse from John; "And the light shineth in darkness and the darkness comprehended it not." We get so caught up in the darkness surrounding us we forget to see God's light. I know that's not the context of that verse, but nonetheless I feel it's a similar example as the people happily living in darkness and sin not comprehending God when He is right in front of them. I can relate to Job in some ways. Obviously I didn't go through near as harsh of pain has he had, but the story of Job is very relatable. Especially when we're young and navigating our teenage youth. I could have used that book when I was in that season of life, but God's timing is never off. I'm beyond grateful for His everlasting love and grace. Even in my darkest moments, I can look back and I can see God's hand in my life. Every single day. I only wished I had had the capacity to see it then and understand I wasn't abandoned and I wasn't alone in my suffering. Jesus was with me every step of the way and still is, even when I fall short as we all do.

The book of Job teaches me that His ways are above my ways. What I think looks like the perfect life isn’t what He necessarily sees for me. I have to trust His judgment, His plans, and that what He wants is truly best. I also have to trust that He loves me, and that if something isn’t going my way it’s a chance for me to learn and grow. It’s pruning me so that I can bear good fruit.

Wow! Just wow! 🤩 this message is stunning and complete. Thank you so much sweet Anna 😊 The first time I read Job I was about 15 years old and I must admit that back then I found it depressing and couldn’t make sense of it. But during my twenties and thirties I would say that it became one of my favorite because of its richness. We learn a lot about the foolishness of humanity and the wisdom of God. His majesty is so beautifully described. My little Benjamin loves when I read the passages that speak about the animals, the nature, etc… I never realized that Jesus was introduced in the book of Job and I wanted to thank you for sharing this with us ❤ the fact that Job wishes to have never been born reminds me of Isaiah 45:10. I truly believe that such thinking hurts the Lord’s heart. I must admit that I have already asked God why he had created me if it was to suffer so much when I was younger… Last Saturday, one of my coworkers told me that “Saint-Antoine de Padoue” came on the care unit and left something for me in our head nurse’s office. 😅Curious, I went to see and I found a beautiful floral box with a note on it. It was written that since I was always taking care of everyone around, it was time for me to take care of myself. Into the box I found so many gifts!!! Little products for relaxation and self care etc… I was deeply touched and cried with joy 🥲 I immediately felt the love of God all around me and just knowing that he loves me and forgave me, I can tell that life is so worthy! Have a great week and may the Lord bless you all sisters in Christ ❤

Even as a non-Christian, I have heard of the book of Job before in the context of "anti-natalism". There are a few so called 'Christians' who believe procreation is unethical, simply because the inherent risk in creating life can lead to verily much harm. For me, as an atheist raised in an Evangelical family, I look at the universe in a much more nihilistic tone. God is an atheist himself. He does not believe in anything that could have created him. He is allowed all the _passes_ so to speak on what most people wouldn't be granted themselves. If anything, I would wish to never have been born, and for the rest of the world as well. It's not a good life. 'The gift', is only relative to not having suffered a worse affair.

I am sorry you feel your enemies prosper but God says not to focus on the wicked. Vengance is mine says the Lord.✝️ Their only victory is you letting them defeat you. God says no weapon formed against us will prosper. We will have trouble said Jesus but take heart Jesus overcame the world. Forgiveness and letting God decide on justice is the only way to be free. Trusting in Gods love for you that He will make a way for you.❤️ We can only focus on our journey. Jesus said dont sit with evil people and dont throw your goodness to evil people or they will use and abuse you. Ask God to take the people out of your life that are not good for you. Trust God will help you. God wont let you down. Dont focus on bad people. Focus on God and allow God to heal your heart. You are precious to God and God cares about our enemies also. Calvinism theology is not the gospel. The elect in the OT Israel. In the NT the elect is everyone who willingly receives Christ and is a part of The Church. God allowed the devil to kill all his kids. Then, he gave him new kids. Sounds really awful to me. I have delayed having a wife and kids because of this horrible situation that the Lord could place us into. Everyone wants to go to heaven, but we all hate trails, persecution, and chastisement. If it were possible, people would run from grace to escape the trails, persecution, and chastisement. Job is the most troubling story in bible to me with the crucifixion being the only exception. I try to keep short accounts on earth 🌎 I do not have too much skin in the game. It keeps the loses lower. I want to be an overcomer but the tests can be absolutely vicious. Your thoughts? ANYONE?

God is not the author of our sufferings. Job was afraid, and proclaimed that what he feared had come upon him. God did not take up satan on his challenge, in fact He defended Job. Since there was no mediator yet between God and man (Job in this instance) satan was accusing Job of his sin….for which he did in fact deserve death, but God said Job is in your hands but don’t take is life. God rebuked Job for not trusting Him, and Job repented. God had no choice to but to take His hedge of protection away from Job at satans accusations, because Jesus had not reconciled Job and the rest of humanity yet through His death, burial and resurrection. Your correct that the book of Job is the most misunderstood and misquoted book in the Bible however. “God give and takes away” is one of the things that Job said before God confronted Job, and before Job repented of his misunderstanding of God’s character. 🙏❤️🙏

I’m so sorry you’re feeling confused right now. I’ve been there. And I’d be lying if I said I still didn’t find myself confused sometimes. You’re right, there are a lot of opinions - the truth is.. a lot are secondary issues. Please don’t be discouraged. Put your faith in Jesus Christ!! It’s all that is truly required for your salvation. ♥️ big hug!

Dear sister Lauren, I love watching videos of Christian people because I adore learning how other people live their faith in Christ but you don't need to agree or take as truth anyone's opinion but a holy priest. When you find a priest who is humble, gracious, kind yet disciplined and living the word with his own actions then trust his advice, ultimately pray to God, pray that he will give you wisdom to understand certain things, but we will never be able to understand God completely because it is not in our nature, but he loves us, and wisdom comes through a relationship of you and him. Holy Trinity, God father, God son Jesus Christ and Holy Spirit our teacher are so so merciful, I pray you grow closer to God and his goodness 🥰🥰🥰

13:36 more often than not God does seem unjust. Good folks don’t tend to end up in a good outcome. The wicked reap all the rewards on planet earth.

I'm sorry, but Job never, ever rebelled. I can give the Quran as a source. Another thing is that we should not define troubles from God as punishment. God sends such troubles to his servants who believe in him, just like he gave to his prophets. After all, the world is not heaven

Islam was inspired by the enemy. Mohammed received his "revelations" from an Angel in a Cave, which Paul warned against. Galatians 1:8 says, "But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed" John 14:6 Jesus says, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me". I recommend watching Sam Shamoun here on KZbin. He can help answer any questions you have about your current deception.

Videos like this confuse the hell out of me. How could you possibly hate your life or have anything significant to complain about, when you have a beautiful home to live in and take care of & I'll assume a husband to help you in life & a child? I think you need to re-examine your life a little bit, there are some people in life (myself included) who have literally only ever wanted exactly what you have right now. Put Job down and sit with that reality for a little while. 🙄 Did you marry the wrong man or something, or were you just wanting pity from strangers on the internet? Honestly, I can't even.

The book of Job serves as a testament that God is the biggest A$$hole. But hey I like its composition overall.
