Yep. It is never okay to neglect yourself. If you just keep pouring into others without being refilled yourself, that ends in burnt out or worse. Timely reminder. Many thanks👍🏾

Luv your content Dr-webb I'm 4th yr med students studying in China after the pandemic I went back to my country Now I can't Get back to school cuz the MFA regulations in China, they don't allow international students enter the country, it's been almost a year I stuck at home taking online classes, speaking of mental health it's pretty intense for me now...

hello friends I am very glad that you have found a way to do those things that take a solid block of quiet, uninterrupted time where you can concentrate and work steadily. I like the fact that you said that this [ prevents ] you from saying to your kids or your wife "Not now honey. I can't hug you now. I have to do paperwork." When it's time to be a dad or a husband, you can get fully into that role without hesitation.

do you still get 8 hours of sleep? if not, do you think it could be damaging on the long run?
@MartinTB63 жыл бұрын
According to Dr. Andrew Huberman, Stanford doctor, there is no evidence that 6 hours is worse or better than 8 hours of sleep. 8 is overrated IMO

@@MartinTB6 Uh...Since when is the opinion of 1 Doctor (of what btw) the rule of law?? You may be right, but lets do some research before jumping to those possibly damaging hasty conclusions. BTW, after a 12 second peer reviewed article search, I found this: DOI: 10.1186/s12916-018-1025-7. So, if you don't want to increase your chances of getting into a car accident by 33%, maybe get more sleep. Also, ALWAYS be weary of someone that says "There is no evidence that...". Big blaring bright-ass RED FLAG.

great video dr Antonio, for your information Islam has one the 5 prayers/day at around this time, & practicing Muslims always wake up for that prayer, and historically muslims would have started their day and work by that time.

Hi! The content was so informative. I've been trying to find for a KZbin video that really informs the ideas in this video! 👏 🩺 The part at 1:09 is my fav. Your video for sure is like the channel of this insightful medical student Doctor Ethan. Dr's tips are actually insightful and I learned a lot for my midterms. He is the helpful medical student in the UK and he explains medical school and diabetes! I recommend you check his page out and give the med student a like! ➡️ #DrEthanEducation

Swap that Obama with some Sowell :)
@TomBreazeal3 жыл бұрын
@The Medical Enthusiast Nope. I'm a Christian. He isn't. So our ideas of right and wrong have some overlap but not all. Sowell is a scholar at the highest level and Obama was a politician. One is much older, has more scholarly and popular level writings, and grew up during much worse racial times. So no....it's not just because he conforms to my ideas of right and wrong.
