If you have nothing better to do than complain about a man's' shirt, I feel sorry for you. My clothes are my uniform. I have several of the same shirts for a reason. They breathe, they are comfortable, and I can clip my mic to them. Feel free to bounce off my videos if it's a problem for you. #childish #BS #grownmenmadaboutmyshirt #getalife

I am sticking up for Randy on this one. Many videos ago Randy did show us and he did comment about his clothes and the score he made on buying them that some shirts looked the same but he didn't care because it's the style he wanted. Who cares anyway ! It's not the clothes that make the videos, it's the content Randy gives us in the videos.

I think Randy does more than one walk around on the same day so of course he will be wearing the same shirt in all of them. Love this channel and I can't understand sometimes why some people complain about the high price of cars now as the cars Randy show us are so cheap, why does everyone want a new car when some of these cars are gems just like the Monte Carlo on today's show.

Everyone is complaining about how difficult it is to find a decent inexpensive car during the pandemic…Randy is like hold my soda and proceeds to hauling them home one after another. Good for you Randy! Love the videos and the variety of vehicles. This one seems like it’s a winner. Fix whatever is causing the service light to be on, detail it and get a PDR person to knock the dents out. Either keep it or give it away if your dealer license allows for that. I think you paid all the money for an unknown car at auction…however now that you have confirmed that the trans is not bad I think it’s a 3000 to $3500 dollar car all day long. Nice score.

One of the most dependable and durable car I ever owned was a 2004 LS with the 3400. My dad bought it new in late 04 (it was leftover stock) and used it for his work car he is a respiratory therapist and used the cars HUGE trunk to carry his work supplies (his boss gave him extra in his check if he used his own car, which in the past was old GM wagons and a chrysler minivan). He put 140K on it in FOUR YEARS and when I needed a new daily driver as my old car was starting to fall apart from miles I bought it. I knew it was taken care off as me and him did ALL the maintenance on it. When I sold it 4 years later it had almost 190 and even tho it had visible rust and a check engine light that would NOT go out no mater what I fixed on it, but it still ran strong and EVERYTHING (except the gas gauge) worked perfectly. I kinda miss that car and would love to have another maybe the SS with the 3800 or the 5300 V8!
@chefdwh

Like I said this was my first brand new car. I had the SS and thought I was somebody. I had the 3800 Supercharged engine. Then I bought I believe the 2009 which had the V8. I miss my Monte Carlos! I picked a 2002 Monte Carlo’s SS Intimidator up a month ago for 1,000. It had 138,000 miles on the dash. What I’ve replaced myself was the drivers side window switch and the window regulator assembly. I also got 2 back tires and an oil change, which fixed the big leak I was having.. yep, it was the oil pan drain plug lol . The a/c worked for 3 days, then all the Freon leaked out. But the engine and transmission run SMOOTH! Only problems I have now are fixing the aftermarket radio, the BCM making dash lights and fix the gas charcoal canister which is throwing a code and not allowing to fill tank above half lol

My fiance had one of those when we met, and the BCM was bad (which i have heard is pretty common on those GM year vehicles). She would go down the road and it would just shut off on her. Also the gauges would just randomly quit working. Nice cars though and great scores, always love your content.

I just bought an 04 Monte Carlo for my son. I was shocked at how well it ran after sitting under a tree for 18 months! A/C does not work but likely just low on freon. It is the LS model so it has the 3400 v6. Runs a hole in the wind! Has a few cosmetic issues with the dash but not a bad overall deal for the $1500 I paid!

The monte carlo has good handling and manueverability. I remember turning on tight corners much faster than i could with my 2010 charger sxt. Drove it a year and sold it for 5 hundy. Man I miss that auction a lot of police impound s. Lot of old cop cars old company vehicles. The best score was a 1987 dodge diplomat police package had a beefed up 318. This was in 97 so ten years old paid 700 and bout a hundy in fees. Take care man. Steve. H. I had one just like that! A 2005, LT same color with a checkered flag across the side. Really sharp car, unique style. Mine had the 3800 series with leather seats but in all honesty, I'd never buy another one for 1 reason...GM security. I had a serious issue with the security feature on mine, and 3 mechs couldn't give me an answer. We tried to do the bypass on it, didnt work. Wipers would work then not work, car wouldn't start half the time...would even stall out on the road once and a while if I used my signal lights. I was told by 2 techs it was the computer and 1 told me BCM. I ended up having to sell it just because it wasn't reliable anymore. A few times I had to boost it just to get home, it was drawing power from somewhere. I ended up selling it to some guy, he got arrested in BC with it, car was impounded and then used for fire safety...to this day I have NO idea how he drove halfway across the country in a car that probably wont start again when shut off.

Nice catch. Never have been to these auctions myself. I have too many cars atm anyway. Wasn't sure if I was going to have to fight those guys off one time though. My truck was totaled from a minor side-swipe. I decided to keep it and take the payout minus scrap value. A few days later started getting messages from them wanting to know when someone could stop by to pick it up. Said "No, I'm keeping it". Next day another message wanting to pick it up. Sigh....

I wish I could but it. I’d use that to commute back and to from home to work and have a vehicle that I could park there while I’m on road.
