Terracotta Kim Try adding the Cover FX blot or mattifying drops to the Born This Way foundation, I had the same problem with the formula breaking up on my face until I started adding the drops. With the drops, the foundation is great.

This is goood to know! I don’t have a match for Born This Way, so I’ll def try the Fenty one since they do have a close match for me. I personally liked the Fenty one on you, it was such a sutil difference, I thought it looked more like a glow from within around your apple of the cheek area on that side. I read that you should put the sunscreen on after moisturizer and before primer so that the sunscreen has less barriers between it and the skin. Also if time permits let the sunscreen set a few minutes before disturbing it.

I wore both Fenty hydrating foundation and Too Faced born this way while on vacation. Both wore pretty good but Fenty was a little oilier around my nose and Born This Way settled in my smile lines a little more. I tend to gravitate towards these two because of the shade match and finish. Great comparison!

I have both of them and you're right the TooFaced is more golden than Fenty. I never really noticed until you mentioned it. I wear the shade 345 in Fenty and Warm Sand in TooFaced. Both look great on my skin.

In the beginning I could see the slight difference in color. But after you put everything together you wouldn't have known that you had on two different brand of foundations. I do have the TooFace foundation but I haven't gotten the new Fenty as of yet. Can't wait to get it, because I'm a big fan of the other Fenty foundation.

I have both of them and I find that I wear the too face more often. Too face matches my skin tone a little bit better. I am shade 450 in Fenty and after I add the bronzer it blends in pretty well. This was a great comparison video!

I don’t know how you do it but you make everything look good. I have both of those foundations and I love them both! Fenty has been my go to and forced me to put down my top faced. I have both...I feel like the Fenty texture is very lotion-y and sheer while the TF is thicker. I have never gotten a "skin like" finish with the TF, but maybe it's the primer. I don't think they are very comparable, however both are great.

I've looked for the Too Faced Chai foundation here in Zurich and it's actually been taken off the foundation Chart in store, but my shade (420 just like you) in Fenty is available, so more likely to buy that. In terms of the comparison, they are quite close, but will give Fenty the edge just based on your smile lines. Great video!

Toofaced Born This way is one of my favorite foundations! I love how hydrating and natural it looks on my skin and gives my skin a flawless finish. Both of these foundations look good on you, pretty much they look the same.

I actually like mixing my matte Fenty with the hydrating Fenty for the best of both worlds as these humid summer days turn cooler. 70/30 mix with the matte dominating the mix. I bought the Born This Way Foundation back in the Spring and haven't even worn it 5 times. It just didn't even "wow" me a little bit. Perhaps I'll give it a try in the Fall/Winter, however, I think my PML and Fenty hydrating foundations are going to be my "go to" foundations until the warm weather of 2020 arrives and I switch back to mattifying formulas.

So here's the thing about SPF. It's fine to use it right before primer but it's best to wait a few minutes before you apply primer so that it has a chance to really sink into the skin. If you apply the primer without waiting, it actually breaks the SPF down, not completely but your protection will diminish slightly. But I really don't see a difference. Both sides look amazing and after you wore it for a few hours you really couldn't tell that there was a slight difference in how warm the undertone of the Too Faced foundation was. I still prefer the Fenty Hydrating one though because (and this could just be me) it's cooling on the skin and with my combo-oily skin it somehow stays pretty natural looking for most of the day.

I already own the Too Faced foundation in Chai.I just picked up samples of a few shades of the new Fenty as well as the original Fenty. The original Fenty never worked for me because I couldn't find the right shade. It was too red. So one of the Sephora artist suggested another shade for me to try. I love your videos as always.

I have the too faced in Chai as well. I got it in a gift set last Christmas. It's almost gone (only lasted this long because I don't wear it daily and I like to mix it with a BB cream from Black Radiance). I love the finish of Born This Way, but I don't see myself repurchasing it immediately when I run out because I'd like to try something new. They both look good on you but I feel like the Fenty was a hair lighter than BTWay.
