It's time to declutter my foundation collection, AGAIN! My foundation collection has expanded throughout the year and it's overwhelming! I find myself only grabbing certain foundations over and over so I don't feel the need to keep the foundations I don't reach for. I will still test and review new foundations as they come (it's what I do) so my foundation collection will continue to expand from receiving PR and purchasing with my own money. As it grows, I discover new favorites which allows me to declutter old ones. I really hope you guys enjoyed my 2nd foundation declutter as much as I enjoyed filming it! I kept Maybelline 355 Coconut the old one without the pump just for quick store runs. I kept Too Faced and Clinique as well. Insta bake accidentally became like my favorite foundation as of now. I’ve been wearing it like daily. I usually run away from dewy but it’s so perfect and works really well in my foggier and colder city. Doesn’t break apart at all, lasts all day, it’s amazing

Sooooo. I’m going to have to try the Covergirl Full spectrum! We are shade twins so you are my go to for foundation reviews. You should try the smash box hydrating foundation in shade 4.05. It’s my absolute fave!!!! I buy a ton of makeup so I do mini declutters about every 4 months and a major de clutter once a year to check for expiration dates and/or products I don’t like or use. Great video girl!

So far the only foundations I’ve tried are Maybelline Fit Me matte because it’s affordable and I can buy two to mix shades, and then Urban Decay Naked. I just ran out of my Maybelline so I purchased the Urban Decay Stay Naked and I’m excited!! I really wanted to get something high end, but I’m a student so I have to be reasonable and although I want to try so many foundations, I went with UD because I have had it before and I knew I liked it. BUT the ones I want to try are NARS Radiant, Too Faced Born this Way, of course Fenty, the Anastasia, and Mented foundation stick...they all look so alluring 😍 I definitely live my makeup dreams through you and I’m grateful I have a brown skin girl I can look to for reference in case I want to treat myself. I think you should declutter every season. Especially since most makeup brands do big releases around seasons and holidays. This will give you a chance to make room for the new and exciting.

I can’t imagine just how many products you must have just so you can keep us informed. I used to hoard but now, if I try something and it doesn’t blow another product I use away, I get rid of it. I have managed to keep my foundations down to about 10 and have swapped some out from time to time. Eye shadow palettes? I just tried the No7 Triple serum foundation. Granted, I'm 45 so my skin needs are different than younger people, but it was just as good as any of my high end foundations. I'm impressed! Now that you have room, maybe you can review it on your channel.

I literally just did a foundation declutter on Monday! It feels soo good to clear up space and purge the products I’m not reaching for regularly! I think I’m going to do a declutter every 6 months- but I’m going to rotate skincare and makeup. TBH skincare is my weakness I aways find an excuse to buy a new serum or moisturizer 😂

Perhaps you should consider decluttering on a seasonal basis. Toss out the previous spring launches after you review the new ones. Do the same for each following season (tossing out the old products after reviewing the new). You could make it a play on "spring cleaning" ( ie." Seasonal Cleaning : Fall Edition" ). 😉

My faves for the summer have been Nars Sheer Glow, Thrive Causemetics CC cream and Menyed Foundation Stick. Im wanting to try Fenty Hydrating Foundation, NYX Born to Glow and Estee lauder double wear since I see a lot of good reviews on it. Your review of the NYX vs Nars was a mic drop for me.

Hi Andrea, I couldn't help but cringe at the idea of eliminating such a large number of foundations, it was well worth the watch! However, on a positive note, letting go helps make space for something better to come along. Fortunately, you and I share a lot of shades in common from Nars Macao, Too Faced Chai and Bobby Brown Golden Almond, to list a few. There are a couple of things that are really bothersome to me since I'm a South African native living in the Middle East. I must say hydrating foundations are a pain for me in the Middle Eastern weather. Since it's mostly hot and humid 70-80% of the year, however, I'm primarily based in a heavily airconditioned space. Therefore my skin ends up producing access sebum on the T-zone area, making me look shinier than lipgloss itself! Therefore I always try to add in the moisture I lose, exfoliate and cleanse you name it! Secondly, the availability of the right products, which are mostly sold in the UK and USA for WOC, aren't always available at the local Sephora store. Most are overpriced in comparison to the US and the UK market. And often, I get matched with a shade that is either tad bit dark or neutral rather than with one with a deep golden undertone. On a brighter note, I can order from the countries mentioned earlier without breaking the bank as such. And by the GRACE OF GAAAWD in the country, I'm living in, purchases under USD $ 300 ($272 exchange rate to date) aren't charged import custom duty fees with international orders. Lastly, matte and buildable foundations are a girl's bestie outchea for me! The matte effect helps control the shine throughout the day, and buildable foundations allow for the skin to breathe and not feel clogged up. Is there a way to help reduce laugh line creases? Because damn, it's exhausting always powdering it up.

Great video! I’m still a newbie to owning multiple foundations. So far NYX and Urban Decay are my favorites. I’ve found Juvia’s Place and L’Oreal to oily and possibly not the right shades. Fenty and Too Faced are ones I want to try.

Great video! I have the Found and Juvia's Place foundations. I understand why you uncluttered the Found foundation because I rarely reach for it. I really like the Juvia's Place foundation because the shade and undertone are so accurate but it does transfer. I might be a setting it wrong. All this time I've been setting my face with a pigmented finishing powder instead of a translucent powder. Destiny Godley schooled me. I'm going to buy a translucent powder see if I get different results.

@@AndreaRenee00 I use the Maybelline Fit loose finishing powders in 35 Deep to set my concealer and I love the way it looks and holds up. But, I have 40 deep to set the rest of my face and it oxidizes so badly. Yesterday, I just bought Coty Airspun loose face powder after watching Too Much Mouth's video comparing it to Laura Mercier.

I really wanna try the Bobbi Brown foundation..and I definitely have more foundations than I actually use, but only because the shades aren't my exact match :(
