Man....Not Deerko the clownish abomination again. He's always getting in a rao with Johnathan the wolfman lawyer lately. Always bickering over acid squirting flowers and squeeky red noses not being chew toys. Ugh...the kind of neighbors you'll find around here at Jorda- I mean at Hollows End. The closest place with toll booths near me is right before a huge bridge that leads to I-5. Usually so busy the attendants probably hardly have time to scratch themselves between cars. Which sounds preferable to whatever is going on at the tollbooth in the story...

When I think of a toll road or bridge I think of the Foley Beach Expressway leading into Orange Beach, Alabama and that means vacation. I'm happy to cross going in but a little sad going out because that means vacation is over.

See this one hits home a bit. Around 1am I heard laughter in my back yard. Not normal laughter but that maniacal evil laughter. Only lasted a min or two. Scared me to the point that I didn't even want to check out the window. I did check my camera for the back yard, I saw nothing. I had the shades pulled down so I couldn't see out the window. I'm not afraid to admit that I was scared. I didn't move till it stopped. It was loud. After it stopped I checked my wife and kids. I've seen too many horror movies to know the last thing you do is go out to check, or go to the window to check. I didn't think it was a demon or something supernatural, but us humans can be just as terrifying.
