❤ I like these stories just as much as the next person BUT this one is practically identical to another one the only exception is the other one is a guy and his wife instead of a gay couple it's the same Punch to the face the same deer collision same revenge plot... Ps. I can only imagine how hard it is coming up with ideas for these stories can be at times BUT having a story that's almost identical to another doesn't really feel like your really trying hard to come Up with a new one....😅 The first story wasn't half bad even though it was a almost copy of another....🤔

I have recently had a stroke and I'm temporarily bedbound so I get it. I am usually on Dr Plague's channel, just post a need for companionship and know I will come runnin when I see it. It's possibly a mix between like a demon and a ghoul the waves able to survive being gutted and Deals as in deals with the Devil and using Fire based attacks reminds me even more of demons or Jake could be a manifestation of fear by the people who have died by the Cryptids sound like a concentration of negative energy kind of like how negative and negative to make a positive

These were some really fantastic stories. I'd love to hear more tales like these 2. Especially about Jake. Did she actually eat the older brother, or did she drag him off somewhere to start helping her do things to repay his debt.? So many questions and possible tales yet to be answered and heard. Ah, ah. Wording matters. "Any THING" As in, one act. Jake cashed in her debt whether it was for their sake or not. Since she doesn't play fair, however, she was able to trick them into making a different deal.

I especially enjoyed the final story. I like Jake, based on what we saw here at least. I'm not sure why but I can't help but feel that if I were in her position in this story I would have made the same decisions. Since the narration mentions further possible stories including Jake, I hope we get to hear those soon. Maybe something like an origin story?

Ya know the kinda deal I'd make...because it's just the kinda person I am to wish stuff like this was real? I be in those woods trying to fight off those things with an M9 and a Kbarr when Jake would show up and when she'd ask me if I wanted her to save me, I would respond with "No, I want you to give me the ability to save myself. Whatever it is you are about to do to save me, transfer that to me...permanently." I'm on the spectrum and I've got the OCD part of that and as a result I have obsess over fantasy stuff like this. I literally often daydream about what I would do if I ever met a crossroads demon lmao.

The only entity you should offer anything to is a benevolent deity like Christ, Buddha, Creator, Great Spirit, Aradia, Nature, Thoth/Hermes, or an Archangel. Anyone who represents wisdom, love, kindness, altruism, etc. Because anything you’re asked to do or give will be for your greater good as well as the greater good in general. Of course, with benevolent beings, you won’t always get what you ask for, because it’s a detriment to be able to have whatever you want whenever you want.

Hey so the depiction for the wendigo is more like a starving human not a deer creature. I was wondering if anyone had the actual correct name for the deer creature. I think it starts with a C in the name I could be wrong. If anyone can tell me the name or if I am thinking of a different creature all together please lettering me know.

To my knowledge, the closest thing to that depiction is a wechuga. There's not really a proper 1 to 1 with the pop culture wendigo (the deer thing), as they've taken multiple myths and sorta twisted them together.

i feel like when jake asked the guy what he'd give her for saving him, if the guy said "i'll.. uh.. i'll make you my girlfriend!" to her, she would've blushed and accepted. i mean, why did she save him? why the weird rule about having to call her when she was right there anyways? because he was the only one with a cell phone, and she had a crush on him, obviously! she wanted to woo him with her awesome powers but she scared him instead. that's why she got so annoyed! clearly this is what part 2 will be about ;D

Perhaps the author is female, women tend to seek to establish themselves as a victim while men tend to establish themselves as worthless for sympathy. So in a lot of these stories the guy is a recovering addict, fresh out of prison, or dumb. The girl is usually a victim of violence, has evil parents or just got cheated on.

🥺 i'm sorry you went through trauma at such a young age. 🫂 About age in these stories, i've noticed sometimes writers are very bad at understanding developmental stages. 😄 I guess they don't remember what it was like to be that age. So you get 13 year olds that need babysitting like they're 10, or, like my biggest gripe in the Witcher series, a girl hitting puberty that talks like she's 7 years old. Not sure why that happens, but i just re-write the age in my head to match what the behavior shows and then continue enjoying the story. E. g. in the Witcher, i guess she just starts menstruating at 7 because fantasy.
