We have never once left our children with strangers. There are barely any relatives that we would leave them with. Grandma & Grandpa or two of our close friends only. You can't trust anyone. Take your kids with you. I was uncomfortable leaving our child at public school. We didn't know anyone who worked there or went there, not even the teacher. That is basically leaving your kids with strangers and hoping for the best. It was scary for sure. Things happened during the school year, but nothing was detrimental. I am happy you decided to homeschool. We are looking into that option.
