OMG CONGRATULATIONS 🎉 Such a badass! (It takes a lot to not only write but then publish such a stunningly beautiful book!) I saw this advice on an author facebook group and I think you may like it: "I recently read Chillpreneur and some of the best advice I've taken from that book was that not everyone is going to be your audience, and your job is to cater to the people who ARE, not the people who AREN'T. Another good piece that goes with that was story I saw on Facebook about a girl in an art class. She turned in some work that had a bit of glitter and pink and peacock feathers on it, but not too much, because she knew the professor wouldnt like it, that it wouldn't be to his taste. His feedback was: "I don't like it. But that's not enough. I'm not supposed to like it. I'm not your target audience. You didn't go far enough, you held yourself back to try and please me, smeone who was NEVER going to like it. You need to do it again and you need to make me LOATHE it." And the next piece she turned it was covered in pink and glitter and peacock feathers, and she was so happy with it because it was what she wanted, and the professor did hate it, and she got an A." I have sooo many questions (could you do a series on this?). Did you end up paying for an editor? How did you format it? What made you decide not to go into KU? Are there any resources or knowledge you wish you had when you first started? Let me know if you'd like me to adjust anything further!
