I was actually quite liking Senna in 14.16. I stopped playing Senna several seasons ago and chronically sucked at her because I didn't have the opportunistic mindset needed to be a crit marksman as support. I reinstalled recently and saw enchanter Senna in action and learned how OP she was, and held about a 65% WR with her before the patch. Her healing was just insane - Ult + Q + Moonstone + Helia pretty much goes from 0 to 100 in a second. It's still pretty good, though no OP with the AP ratio nerfs, but it actually feel better playing the hybrid style that gives her early game agency with late-game utility.

Not gonna lie, I'm not optimistic about this new Senna, I'll probably stop playing her unless they bring more of her damage back. I get that a lot of players disliked having a Senna on their team because there's this stereotype that they have main character syndrome and have no interest in actually supporting their teammates. I never played Senna like that, I always put my team first and only functioned as a backup carry if needed. Like if someone decided to int. Having that Twitch and Garen on your team was a perfect example of where being a backup carry would have been more useful imo. I know enchanters have more agency than what the average League player thinks, but at the end of the day, they can only do so much. Healing and shielding someone who's sitting in a bush or running it down is no where near as useful as just killing the enemy team. There were so many moments in this game where an enemy got a away in a situation where old Senna would have just killed them. The game was a victory in the end, but only because Twitch and Garen finally decided to play with the rest of the team near the end. I feel like old Senna would have won this game much earlier and with far less headache.

This is pretty much what I think when I play seraphine. I don't liek typical supports with healing but I like ones where I can be a back up "carry" (but also really not lmfao) with SO utility. Thankfully the only times I support I do with a pre or a group and they don't mind me building damage instead of helia. I can help dish out some damage in lane but with her ult, root and even the dmg with double Q It feels really good. But I'm glad I'm not the only one that feels that way too

I agree with what you’re saying, AD/AP I feel is the most important stat to be building up first on your items builds for bot and supp. Like it kills me when my ADC’s build like attack speed before getting a long sword because they basically do nothing, no threat and with it being a duo lane, every bit of damage is needed due to all the peel possibility. Supps work with ruby crystal, but pokers like senna need some damage to be a champ

To be honest, Senna is less fun to watch now than before, the lethality boosted crits where something. From the games i watch it looks like you have to completely outplay the opponent all the time, just play better isn't enough.

Good video bro, very informative through out and makes wanting to play the new Senna rework more enjoyable. Shows how strong she is too with just the 2v1 potential seeing as Twitch was afk half the time on wave, happens. The Summon Aery kill secure was icing on the cake.

Not sure if it actually would be any good, but there's an interesting item synergy with Black Cleaver and Yun Tal Wildarrows. The burn from Wildarrows is physical damage which lets you fully stack Cleaver from a single auto, and keep the Cleaver's movespeed buff longer. I'm not certain, (and my internet is too flakey atm to test,) but I think it might be good on a Cleaver + Rapid Firecannon build. Unfortunately Senna's Q doesn't crit, so the burn would only be on an actual auto, but that isn't too hard to apply.

Hello,i have a question for you i really like your play style and your different approach to some champs (like poppy assasin) but im low elo (bronzish) and when i try those builds and different champs in support they flame me and report me for playing that way and usually my adc either stays afk or feeds the enemy team and im not that bad of a player (in my opinion) im playing like 2 2 7 on poppy assasin and they flame me for not playing her tank any ideas on how can i play these builds or have fun in support when you have these kinds of adc (like what im i suppost to do). If you can answer my question i will be really thankful.

RIP old Senna. Was a good 5 years. Been maining her since her release, and don't love the direction they have taken her. She's having an identity crisis and I don't like it. What I wish Riot did was buff the AP ratios like they did but leave the AD scaling alone, giving us many options to choose from when building her.

@@luckytrece4985 Sure, you can still play it, but you can also play AD soraka. It's just troll at this point. She was already sitting at 49% winrate with lethality and crit builds before the nerfs, and her nerfs were huge. 50% nerf on attack speed growth, and 20% nerf on passive crit chance. Her auto attack DPS took a 25% hit from what it was a few weeks ago. That would be like removing Yasuo's crit passive and turning him into a tank. He'd immediately be unviable in his current role/playstyle. Most people would be fine with it, but the Yasuo mains who have played him for years would hate it even if his winrate increased.

​@@jeoffbenzos4959 I think thats my problem (jus a little), i never understand the lethality build not having % Armor Pen as a core stat, % is always better than flat (same on magic resist), also the crit builds was all full crit and when you surpass the 100% you start to make your items less and less gold efficient. About the crit nerf, you used to hit 100% with 2 items and 120 souls, then they buffed crit items, its normal to rebalance the passive, so, now you got 98% with the same. Attack Speed never was a thing for Senna​, unless you go torret mode, most of the time you will not notice the difference, ont top of that you have the same dps on three fisrt attacks (AA Q AA) then you can for example trow the root, and your dps will be the same for the first 3 to 4 seconds. Im probably wrong and in negation. But still playing the same build and don´t feel any significative difference.

@@luckytrece4985 you're incorrect about the AA Q AA having the same DPS. Senna's attack speed affects her auto attack charge time. At level 15 her AAQAA now does 325 damage to a practice dummy without any souls. Add 3 daggers which puts her exactly where she was 2 patches ago at the same level and her AAQAA is significantly quicker and does 380 damage. That's a 15% difference in DPS without the crit taken into account. At level 18 its even more of a difference. Any items you buy will less effective than before because you're getting less autos and Q's in. Go to the practice tool and try it out without items then buy daggers and youll immediately see the difference.

Senna is a scaling support she has a shit early game. Period. Her problem like every scaling champion. Less snowballing in game so you can’t just hand check. And games end pre 25 mins in higher elo. Enchanter senna bypassed her early game weakness with insane scaling needed nerf. She’s pretty balanced now.

Oof. Khaz got greifed baron by the pet spaghetti. This involves several factors, them being: 1. The neutral health bars have a real value check, which is what appeared as a heal here. 2. Pets dmg is spaghettied af, with them "dealing" dmg to the health bar at the start of the animation, but the real value isn't effected until near the end of the animation. 3. Smiting mid animation can cancel the pets attack similar to how aa's can be canceled by ability casts. 4. Smite has a slight delay in applying damage and the system forces the real health check before the dmg is applied. This is the first time I've seen it on baron, but I've seen it on krugs several times (one of the worst camps for the pet due to how many weird interactions the breaking/bush can cause)

Personally I am disappointed with the Senna mentality switch because next to Pyke she used to be the most unique support to play. Now she is a walking armor shred for your ADC to abuse (picking her in tanks is now viable because you can actually survive). Still I would consider RFC a core item for her just because of the pick potential you get with the extended range. Another build to explore now that heals are nerfed is Ardent censor for the AA buff. They should have played with the ratios first before deciding to go 180 and making Senna a weird enchanter.

I like that she has build diversity now, but honestly, she's still stupid strong building ad, you can definitely hyper carry with her, she just looks different. but honestly, the Enchanter is just more generally useful, and fits more teams. I think that Senna is in a better spot, because she can build based on what her team needs now, as opposed to the other way around.

They should/or should just make her a flat healer mage. Think Banana but with range.
