I agree on abilities buffering out of cc. Every ability like yone E2 should be as unreliable and interruptible as Zac E or Ornn E. Every fart in the wind should be enough to interrupt your dash. It makes no sense for some champs to be "blessed" by the programming gods to ignore cc and some to be "cursed" by having a "normal" ability.

I ran some tests with on-hit Briar and it seems to get better results as she auto-attacks with her W. I usually go bork, rageblade, berzerker boots and depending on the opposite team I go cringebow+bloodthirster or def items like thornmail, jak-sho or any other that allows me to jump in and take some damage. Maybe that's something you'd be willing to try?

Really interesting how many times ive heard complaints about counter-play. That's what makes the game interesting and flavorful, the fact that you need to strategize around other's abilities to guarantee an effective engagement. Its looked down upon, which is very confusing.

The kraken slayer first seemed a little underwhelming but it looks like it went fine. If the early game went more poorly, I think the higher kill and carry potential from duskblade or eclipse would be better. I've been liking infinity edge over navori since the ability spam never seems that useful. Her cooldowns are pretty short at two items anyways. Also trying sheen items can be decent with the crit build like essence reaver. It makes the W bite/execute do extra damage plus a crit potential.

Kraken has the most damage output as the first item because briar is forced to use its passive continuously

Briar W only resets via quickblades after the 2nd W is used. You can see that at dragon. He keeps saving the W to last hit. So early on he keeps missing 2 or 3 free Ws. The benefit from quickblades 100% uptime W. He shoulda went BT. Quickblades. Shield bow/essence reaver/lord doms. The gain of BT is 18% lifesteal+ up to 50% increased healing when low. That plus briar W means he can actually go more tanky after 2 or 3 items. Think BT shen Quickblades, spirit visage. He would have like 60/70% lifesteal and like 150% on the W.

This is not new its basically the build I been climbing with since she came out! Also, the best path is SBow, Niv, Kraken. Also if you go Zhonyas 4th you can ult Zhonyas at close range so you dont die in the animation or on impact.
