Hello Dr. Singh, I got a form I-7979C , notice of action letter saying that my form was submitted with an extra remittance that is not required to process my application and the payment has been returned to m with the notice. I didn’t get any money in the mail but I had filled the right amount 700 dollars for eb2 . However the previous day I had also received a document from USCIS saying they application was received and money received I am confused. Please guide me on what this means

Hey Vijay. Please don't confuse people. You don't have to fill out Form ETA-9089 for an EB1-a visa. Please double-check.

Hello Vijay. I really appreciate your kindness, wonderful nature, and generosity. I read your petition letter, and I have a question regarding the language used. Although you are the petitioner yourself, the wording gives the impression that someone else is writing on your behalf. For instance, instead of saying "Dr. John Doe is an assistant professor," shouldn't it be "I am an assistant professor"? what would be the best way to proceed?

Thanks for sharing in detail but have question. I have explored more than 20-25 universities, and most of them mention that if your degree is not from a U.S. institution, you need to translate it and send it for evaluation. Is it really necessary to translate the transcript and make it equivalent to a U.S. degree? In Pakistan, the GPA system is out of 4.0, so why are they still asking for this?

You can apply for both at the same time. If you are doing premium processing, better to get one of them done first, so even if it is denied, you can use the feedback to improve the other petition.

Hello Dr. Singh, I sent my petition and according to the UPS tracking number, I see that it was delivered. In the application, I added the form to allow me get messages after it is received but I have not received any messages that they received my application. After how long after USCIS receiving the application do they send a message

It takes a few days for the application to get into the system. If you sent a check, you can track the bank account to see if they have deducted the money. That is generally a better way to see if they started working on your application. Once you have an application number assigned, then you will get email. Good luck. Let me know how it goes.

The e-notification form is the form you put in your petition so that you can get an notification when the petition reaches USCIS. The whole petition has to be sent.

If you are providing the evidence that you are paid above the average salary, then it is good to attach pay slips. You should also attach the national average salary for similar jobs. It is generally given on government finance department website.
