I am surprised that iris ze manages to hold up well actually against 2024 games, not as good as newer nvidia but its still good enough.

If it's been a while you had it you can try -putting new thermal paste -cleaning your laptop fans -use a cooling pad Hope it helps

I have a dell latitude 5420, and i can run just about anything if you set it to 720p on low settings, especially if you installed another ram card to take advantage of the dual channels. Cyberpunk even runs at a steady 30ish fps if you use their in-game Intel resolution scaler settings set to "performace". Capping the FPS also let it run more smoothly.

Do a clean installation of Windows 11 24H2 and update all drivers. Check if your performance is still not good. Also, if your PC is not running with 2 x RAM modules (Dual-Channel), your IrisXe graphical adapter will not work at full capacity.
