the issue is not the 9900k on a z370 motherboard, it is that you are using an overclock profile designed for a 8700k, plus any person overclocking cpus, would know not to use the pre configure overclocks as they pump too much power to the vcore.

Thanks for your work. I was thinking about upgrading my z370 8700K to 9900K. Now i leave it as is. Will try better later build new machine with 10900K.

ricky v time is money. If i save like 20% in Lightroom export time i can start sooner with another project (yep, i’m those on who uses Hackintosh in production). And for small business just buying mac pro is no the best answer either.

there's a git page dedicated to gigabyte z370 (aorus gaming 7 namely, but works with others) for hackintosh that is completely stable. i opted for FreeBSD though.. :P

Any reason you're still on Clover instead of OpenCore? Do you plan to switch to Big Sur anytime soon?

@renegadevi Good point. This system has been so stable that I don't want to change anytime soon. Now I have second CPU, so I can mess around with it. And OpenCore is definitely the future imo. I have couple of real Macs running on Big Sur. Will think about doing a hack with big sur if I have to.
