I remember that Titanic was the last movie my grant-grant-parents watched in cinema. A year later they were both gone, but after watching this movie they said it was so realistic and all the costumes and the athmosphere reminded them of the time they were young. Both were allready alive in 1912 and remembered that time.

My mother hadn’t been to the cinema since she was a young girl. I took her to watch this film as she called it, she was now in her early 70s and at the end said she enjoyed it, when we stood up to leave everyone was rushing to get out and it caused a bottle neck at the exit, I pushed my way through with my mother and when we got close to the exit I raised my voice and said let this women through she’s a survivor and everyone stepped aside and we both walked through with a grin and a smile . She has now passed away and is in endless peace. (RIP) mom,, your loving son 💐x

There are loads of powerful emotions....that this Hymn alone stirs within anyone....Even those who believe they can't be affected..... I will say this, thank you to James Cameron for just one thing - For making the film. No I don't think its because it would make him famous/rich. No. Far from it..... I thank him because otherwise I wouldn't have known about the Titanic..... Here's to the 1912 ship.... TItanic... Still a beautiful piece of music done by a man who will be missed terribly. Also a great tribute to the Pride of Belfast...the R.M.S. Titanic.

I love how this track specifically doesn’t show up in the film like obviously the melodies do. This was just James horners way of remembering those 1500+ innocent souls that perished RIP to all those who died as well as James who composed this beautiful piece

Sissel Kyrkjebo's voice is absolutely divine! James Horner did the perfect thing to use Sissel's voice for his out-of-the-world composition for Titanic.

As a child, I had an absolute fascination with the Titanic which would later branch out into many of the Atlantic Crossing Ocean Liners / Blue Riband Competitors/Holders. My Grandfather only helped to encourage this fascination and love of Liners to bloom, by gifting me plenty of literature, early films and photographs on the Titanic - among other things. When this released in cinemas in December 1997, he took Me to see it. I was 6 at the time. Just Me and Him. It's one of the many memories that I treasure and hold dearly to this day. Since his passing on 27/02/2017 My heart has been broken ever since. This song touches me in ways very few songs can. It brings up a mix of emotions both beautiful and mournful and I ache for the day that We shall be reunited. If I'm ever feeling alone, or lost and confused, I know that I can listen to this tear-jerking masterpiece and have myself a good solid cry as I reminisce of better times. Not a day has gone by that You don't cross my mind, You beautiful soul. I love you Gramps, forever and always.

My great grandmother and great great grandmother were survivers of the titanic my great grandmother told me the story of what happened when I was a small child and it was terrifying she was talking about the last moments of the people who didn't make it and it literally ate a hole in my heart some take it as disrespect about them wanting to rebuild the titanic but I take it as history getting to meet my great grandmother who survived was a honor may she rest in peace now

When I hear this song, it always fills the gaps inside of me and makes me have a stronger connection with Titanic. When I hear this song, I feel relaxed and very calm. It’s so musical and creative and at the same time, I am reminded of Titanic and those who perished. This song is very unique, exquisite, and inspirational.
